Your most embarrassing moment in a raid?
I think I had mine last night and I felt like such a fool. We're doing Atheon and he has a sliver of health left we get teleported to Venus and thinking I'm running gunslinger for oracles I pop my super and oh no I'm bladedancer and cause us to wipe. So embarrassing.

Coming out of teleporter against atheon and fall into the abyss jumping to the middle platform. Np! I'll res! Used my super and promptly fell off the map again Completely my fault

In CE Hard I went to fire off my super to generate orbs while in a bubble and ended up throwing a grenade.

On the Templar I waited a few seconds to see if I was detained and then fired Ghorn, as soon as I fired I died the detainment field apparently activated at the exact time I fired. Sad part it was right after I complained about someone else doing the same thing.

So during my first vog attempt we make it to atheon. We die and when we spawn i walk off the ledge like a dumbass

4 manning VoG we were flawless to jumping maze, I FoH across and go to jump around the ledge that sticks out, on my way back in I hit should charge, force of habit. I bounced off the wall and fell to my death.

Running the abyss and my friend is yelling at me to watch for holes. I tell him I got it and then immediately fall into a hole :(

Last night on VoG hard at Atheon , i'm a defender Titan , we come out of the Venus gate and i obviously jump towards middle platform , in my haste to pop bubble for weapons of light i popped the super slightly too early and watch as my titan slowly plummets to his doom off of the map .

Realized I was running Striker class instead of Defender..Of course, next..Guardian down.. Shot by the boomers. Reminder, always keep an eye on your sub-class.

Sword disappeared while hitting crota. Usually not a big deal, you just run away. But i had my ghorn equipped when i picked up the sword. And it registered one of my trigger pulls shooting crota from one foot away...

First time in VoG. The team screams for weapons of light on middle platform. Pop it over the "entire" platform. Summarily kicked from team. Was my first time though.

1 ReplyAt the bridge, grab sword and run across. As I'm getting toward the end, the bridge starts to deconstruct, so I jump and try RB to swipe and get across. But I accidentally pressed RT.

1 ReplyI wasn't so much embarrassed as just fed up. Hopped in a fresh VoG raid on Saturday night and we were doing good up until the Gorgons. I can handle wiping anywhere else. I can take as many wipes as we need to succeed except in the Gorgon maze. If you can't follow easy directions and get to the end after 10 wipes...I'm done. I just said "sorry I can't do this anymore" and left.

Hm crota I had my titan I went to drop the bubble on the right side for boomers I get the the spot and fist of havoc the shit outta the floor boomers instantly killed me and I instantly shut off my console

Edited by Th3Element05: 4/27/2015 3:48:05 PMNot mine, but I was in a group doing Crota's End on hard. For whatever reason, we were all failing at the lamps, we wiped at least 3 times. Finally, one of our Hunters made it to the end, got on the high rock, and used his invisibility perfectly to evade the Ogre. He was behind one of the rocks right in front of the bridge, invisible, the thrall don't even know where is is yet, and "the path forward is clear." He runs towards the bridge, and then just stopped moving. The thrall run up to him, and it's guardian down. He popped back on his mic and said "omg, my controller batteries died..."

I went across the bridge with the sword and when my group leader told everyone else to wipe, I jumped off by instinct. Felt so dumb.
