Your most embarrassing moment in a raid?
I think I had mine last night and I felt like such a fool. We're doing Atheon and he has a sliver of health left we get teleported to Venus and thinking I'm running gunslinger for oracles I pop my super and oh no I'm bladedancer and cause us to wipe. So embarrassing.

Edited by tpick: 4/27/2015 6:53:37 PMA couple friends told me that they had read on the forums about Titan smashing Crota and knocking him off the edge so I figured why not give it a try so we spawn in kill all the ads and I start to climb up to the top of the map, get up there and wait for Crota to rotate. He rotates and I jump and fist of havoc him and he swats me out of the air... They all burst out laughing. 1 ReplyWhile running gatekeeper on hard mode I usually solo Venus/Mars. What I do if I'm on my warlock is I'll usually die when I go blind and self res so I can see and the exit the portal. Well yesterday I didn't have self res. so I just died. Fk me.

1 ReplyTrying to use a Warlock on the jumping 'puzzle' in VoG. It got so bad my friend has renamed it 'Timbur Canyon'. Much easier with a Titan (for me, anyway).

1) First time trying to swordbear and everything was fine until my heart was beating so fast that I panicked, forgot to blink strike, ran off the edge and couldn't get back up. 2) Swordbearing, called for rockets, jumped up and saw one rocket hit crota.. i started jumping trying to avoid his shots yelling for more rockets lol and as he finally started to go down I accidentally jumped backwards off of the edge of the map.

Tried to run sword. Jumped, called for rockets, Crota went down. I then swung away like an old man beating a home invader with his walking stick. I jump away, pleased with my effort only for the whole team to tell me I had completely missed him. LoL. Needless to say I haven't tried since.

Everything was fine, it was the third sword, Crota is literally 2 hits from dying. We down him, I start slamming. Crota didn't take none of that -Blam!- and sat there. He took the beating, but his health didn't drop. The oversoul from Enrage killed us. We were speechless. I was ashamed. I couldn't even....

Edited by Brewer6863: 4/27/2015 6:28:10 PMA little while ago, on my Titan running out from oracles to get to the platform to shoot atheon, I'm ready with bubble, I jump over and like a boss do super which should land on back of platform. Realised when u do super it drops u straight down, I did it just short of platform and fell straight to death. Also came running out another time and someone said bubble, I said yep got this, didn't realise though, I Titan smashed the platform instead. We all chuckled. My friend told me this one. They were at bridge in crota. They sent lowest level over to camp behind lamp, once locks had self res he shouts everyone wipe, noob over other side jumped off as well.

Other than him (he was a 26) I think I was the only person that died and it was because I was floating and my nova bomb hit the edge of a ceiling right in front of me and I killed myself.

1 ReplyHad the hungering blade perk on for blade dancer. Replenishes health upon blink strike kill. Blink struck a cursed thrall in a moment of weakness, died. I then contemplated downing a bottle of whiskey and reading Edgar Allen Poe stories until I slowly slipped into madness.

Running sword for the like 50th time on my hunter. Usually have no problems. But this time, I literally spazzed so hard that I absolutely could not even jump on the rock to turn invisible. After like 5 tries, I was so mad at the game that I just rage quit. Haha

1 ReplyEdited by Hard Labor7: 4/27/2015 5:15:07 PMNot mine but a friend did this, me and my friend had to find the rest of our raid team on LFG and we had gotten to the bridge on normal crota and I took the sword across. It was now time for the two sun singer warlocks we had to die and self-rez my friend was one of the two we had and he told the other don't worry about it and he had everybody commit suicide so he could self-rez. Everyone dies and I'm across the bridge when everything des pawns I call it out and he doesn't come back to life. Everyone in the raid group is wondering why when seconds l8er he lags out of the party and game. Me and the remaining guys were bummed out that we now had to restart(I tried to solo it but fell off a ledge shooting a gjallerhorn lol) Anyways a few days l8er my friend brings up what happened and reveals to me that he didn't have self-Rez equipped and as soon as he realized that muted his mic and busted out laughing then turned his Xbox off rather than just confess he didn't have it equipped.

Veteran sword runner here. Got my Gally a few weeks ago, so when we ran Crota the next time, I figured I'd help take the swordbearer down. He ran behind a corner where my buddies didn't have a line of sight. I go "don't worry boys, I do it all!", as I jump down and fire a Gally. The wolf pack rounds kill me and we had to wipe. I still get chirped, and rightfully so.

Shoulder changing a team mate off the map on confluxs causing a wipe. Through the entire raid I was preaching that the chest after the skeiker hall could give exotics. We get to it no one got an exotic.

Being the relic holder during the atheon fight. I came out the portals and jumped towards the middle platform but didn't time my jump correctly lol. Guardian down.

3 RepliesFirst time using a titan to use the sword to fly over the bridge. I made it in one go, with much rejoicing from the team. I dropped the sword, ran to the left lamp to hide....and immediately shoulder charged off the cliff. Good times
