People over 2.0 KDR, what sensitivity?

I keep hearing different things about sensitivity from good players. Some say they play on 10 because it gives you great reaction time and all the pros play on 10. Other people tell me that the best players play on 1-3 sensitivity because it helps them correct their aim when taking shots and the pros actually play on extremely low sensitivity. I usually play at 7 but since Iron Banner is coming I might try something new to see how it goes. So if you are very good at crucible and have the high K/D to prove your gun skill, what sensitivity do you use and why? Edit: Thanks everyone for the input. Seeing lots of great players with the low sens but also some very high KD players with high sens. Please post your videos here as well if you are a high KD player and want to give advice while promoting your channel.

  • I recently came back to Destiny 2. Haven’t played since the Osiris DLC. I use to always be 10 sensitivity, but after coming back, I keep over shooting targets. I don’t know what happened, but everything seemed off at 10 sensitivity now. I started playing at 9, and I’m doing a lot better. I’m nailing my shots down and 9 feels “snappy” enough still.

  • I say whatever works for you. One way to find out, get a friend and go private match. Have them stand still and you have hour back towards them. Now turn around to crit shoot them. If you find yourself missing left of the head, your to sensitive, to the right not enough. Practice this over and over till you find what works best for you. Also remember some of the best advice you can get in crucible is keep everything in front of you, so knowing when to rotate out is very important.

I have a 2.6 kd on my warlock currently, I play solo, no fireteams, crap teammates. I use 10 sensitivity and I always have a sniper equipped. If you can handle 10 then you can be better than any one that has a slow sensitivity. Kd doesn't really mean so much here as it would in other games. There is no ranked matchmaking so people can just team up and get a 6 kd easy. I know I could against all those bad players out there. When they add ranked matchmaking then you will be playing against people at your skill level, and your kd will drop.

    • I actually play on 2 and moved their recently after Patch 2.0, I was on 3 for the longest but it felt so much more sensitive after the patch and 2 now feels like 3 to me.

    • Used to play on 6 or 7, recently switched to a 3 or 4. While it does hinder your ability to turn around as quick i find myself playing a lot smarter and hitting a lot more shots.

    • 4. Having a high sensitivity is highly overrated. The best pvp players out there have said that they play on 3-5 sensitivity

    • Doesn't honesty matter about k/d because it's all up to preference. Do you want quick reaction time over good aim? Or do you want good aim over quick reaction time?

    • I play on 4. I used to play on really high sensitivity but I got used to the slow sensitivity again because when I used to have a couple of MLG friends on cod and they told me to practice with low sensitivity. It helped a lot because my precision shots are near enough on point. But it's what you prefer really. People like blink, I don't. I'm still trying to get used to it by forcing myself to use it

      • I have an average KD on all characters of 2.85, I play on 4 sensitivity, and I use a scuff. Its really dependent on how sensitive your analog sticks are, ( Even though I play on 4, Im really playing on twice that). When sniping, I bring my sensitivity down to 2, so I can make more precise shots. Heres a gameplay of me playing against other competitive players ----> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLJ9DtjJEsY

        • your'e asking the wrong question here.... its not the sensitivity its the style of play, if someone has a 2.0 KD more than likely they play very carefully, focusing only on kills and tend to play one side of the map......these types of players are not "pros" but rather KD allstars its kinda pathetic PS: No pro player will ever play on 10 sensitivity...EVER They play on 2-3 at the most 5 but NEVER 10 or even that close. You will realize who's a pro based on how fast they kill you, with a low sensitivity its much easier to control your shot, stability, and recoil. For the maniacs who think a higher sensitivity makes you a better player, its their simple excuse for being completely oblivious to map control and pacing yourself in a PvP match and rather they run around aimlessly spinning 180s and missing majority of the shots they take Please take my advice....keep your sensitivity low and understand the map and spawns I dont have a great KD but I win and I outgun about everyone i go up against Remember their are plenty of ways to die in this game

          • If your running and gunning start at 6 then work up, you need to be able to turn quickly around corners and shotgun. For sniping start at a lower one, then eventually work up.

          • I always use 4 with Bumper Jumper configuration (my K/D was a 2.1 until this last month where I've been constantly using NLB trying to perfect the no-scope. So far I've gotten one kill no-scoping).
