Since the latest update they haven't spawned for any console. The way you did it is the only way to complete those 2 bounties.

I have since read other posts and the general consensus is most people are disappointed with the change.It was nice to use the sword if a public event popped up.Also most people seem to want them back if possible.

i agree with u bud, but my experiences were mostly negative once i jumped from the demo to the full game. people would see me waiting for the swords to spawn, let me shoot then rush up with a shotgun for the finishing blow & grab the sword. i'd message them something like "u working on the eris bounty too?" & get replies like "nah finished it just like using the sword". then they'd do something else in the area until the sword spawned again & repeat & message something like "lol it's mine not ur's". there were a few people who helped me, though. one dude even dropped the sword & let me pick it up & stayed with me to make sure no one trolled me. wish i could remember his gt, i'd give him a shout out by name =( THANK U GUY WHO'S GT I CAN'T REMEMBER!
