Death of an Exotic

The death of the Pocket Infinity has been surprisingly quiet. I think for most Fusion Rifle user, the pocket infinity was more of a novelty to begin with. But the weapon did have utility in limited applications. It was fun to pull out occasionally during PvP if you wanted to go really offensive but 1.1.1 + 1.1.2 has ended that. What is the point of using an auto fusion rifle that tears through ammo if you only start with 1.5 mags and then it takes 3-5 mins of ammo spawn time to get 4-6 more rounds? What if one was trying to save up ammo to go offensive after a time?? Fixed: You can't carry as much ammo as you used to. The exotic bounty isn't the fasted bounty to go through and the weapon has really lost it's utility. Devs, do you realize this gun has just died and no body cares?? If no gamers care, does this warrant a pulse rifle like buff??? I'll take your silence to mean 'yes, bungie is tracking the lack of attention to the matter and a new update is coming.'

  • This ones tricky. It still wrecks, just not the entire match. I think it's meant for that situation where you walk into a room and there's 3 guardians capping a point. We don't see it anymore because no one wants to use it situationally, they wanted to use it as a primary. Increasing its reserve ammo would do it well. Just not too much.
