That's just a side effect of the special ammo nerf in 1.1.1, they only mentioned the vex because it's the only relevant "special-primary" gun

The special ammo nerf was only applied to shotguns and fusion rifles, not sniper rifles, and only PvP. None of my normal snipers have been affected by this.

Snipers were affected. Start with only 1 1/2 mags now, and only one mag per box
