Wife bought my son a PS4
I feel so ashamed! I've been XBOX since the giant controller. I feel like my son has been corrupted and will now live out his days under a bridge.
And we can't play Destiny together.

7 RepliesI've been a xbox guy since it was first released. I looove my xbox. I've pre ordered each model on day one. But I also bought the Playstations afterwards. I preferred my 360 elite to my ps3 hands down. Even tho I got red ringed on the first one after just a few months. And never had an issue with my ps3. Maybe because it wasn't used no where near as much. Now.. got the day one xb1. And fell in love all over again. Loved it so much I had no intentions on even getting a ps4 at the time. Until I came across the destiny special edition and ah hell. I had to get it. And after time with both, the ps4 is a damn good machine. I know I'm about to catch a ton of shit after saying this. But in alot of ways it is a better machine. The quality for one. Even the controller quality. I can notice better graphics on SOME games. And the dashboard has came a long way. In my opinion it's more of a gaming machine than the x1. But I love having all of my media in one machine. Hell being able to watch HBO and just say xbox go to destiny. Gotta love that. So having lived with both for a while I would choose the x1 hands down but I haven't found one bad thing about the ps4. Now as far as xlive and psn, no comment there. I read so many posts talking shit about each system on here and this is the first time I've ever jumped in. Now here comes the hate....

1 ReplyI got a PS4 just after launch. A year later my wife then bought my son an Xbox One. He prefers the Xbox purely because (his words) "the controller fits his little hands". (Can't comment from personal experience as I've never played an Xbox One). Does your son have bigger hands than you? Does that not make you feel inadequate?

The only benefit I see to having an Xbox One is Killer Instinct and the vastly more comfortable controller. If only I could have both.

They're the same thing. PS has more obnoxious updates, but it does have a slightly better graphics card. Plus, No Man's Sky is PS exclusive.
