If it were possible to send a mass invite & message without having to retype the message for every person I could agree with you. You could always message them back asking what their plan is.

Yes you could always message them back but why should you when they don't have the courtesy to send you a quick message in the first place. It take 30sec to write what you are needing help with. Any invite that I get with no description will get ignored. I don't mind helping people with anything especially lower level players with story missions but please just include a message. It's even worse when someone keeps spamming you with an invite every 5 seconds. If I've not replied to your first 5 invites what makes you think I'm going to reply to the 6th, 7th or 8th.

  • As I said, they are likely just inviting everyone in the tower. It might take 30 seconds to send a message, but that's 30 seconds per invite. Assuming a full lobby of 16 players. 30x16=480 seconds 480 seconds = 8 minutes Whereas you receive an invite from one person. 30x1.... You get the idea. I'm not criticising you, random invites annoy me sometimes too. But if you're not willing to spend 30 seconds to simply ask what a Guardians planned activity is, I refuse to believe you are willing to dedicate about an hour or two helping newbies through a Raid.

  • Surely the onus is on the person looking for the help in the first place though? I think that's the point he's trying to make. I also don't mind helping people but it's not my responsibility to follow up a random to find out what he wants like some dog answering his masters call. It's a matter of courtesy to include a message if you're asking for help. I always would, exceptions being if it's close friends that I play with regularly anyway
