I used to get heaps on invites when I hit level 30, and then when I hit level 31. But for some reason and thank god I stopped getting invites when I hit 32

I stopped getting them ever since I got rank 30 before DB. Didn't get any even when I got 32. My friends did. Then I realized that unless I am raiding or doing IB, light level has pretty much no purpose. Started buying gear that I thought looked cool yet still gave me the perks I wanted. Then people started inviting me. I once asked why. The response, they wanted to help a newb get light level 32. Went up to them and put my 32 gear on and walked away.
