Vulture error code: Stop this bird from soaring

Hello, I've been seeing a great increase in Vulture error codes reported on #Help and am just trying to compile a report on them. I believe if this thread gets enough attention bungie will investigate this issue. So if you are experiencing an increased amount of this specific error please report it below with this format: Gamertag/Psn ID Console How often and what time you are experiencing this issue NAT type Note: I am not a bungie employee but they do monitor the forums, so any thread gaining alot of attention will be investigated.

  • Hi all, We're trying to narrow down this issue and we need your help and to attempt this troubleshooting. [b]For the sake of our investigation, please only answer these questions I am asking. The more detailed answers the better[/b]: 1. What’s your network setup? a. If you’re familiar with routers, do you have any unique DMZ/Firewall/Parental filters set up? b. If you’re not familiar with your router, have you or someone else fiddled with it to make Destiny or other games work? 2. Is this gamertag related? a. Does this reproduce on all gamertags on your console? b. What happens if you move your gamertag to another console? 3. Does this error happen if you move your console to a friend's house?

      Bungie is already on top of it. They are looking at why the vulture error code has increased. That being said please post your info here. This way it's a consolidated source of this issue. BungieHelp ninjaedit: We are currently investigating the Vulture error and why this is occurring. While we investigate Vulture I do have a couple of troubleshooting questions that will help our investigation: Have you happened to change your gamertag in the past week or so? If you have changed your tag, what method did you use (via console, online, etc)? Did this issue start occurring before the 14th of April or after? Can you confirm if you have Gold or Silver XBox Live on your account? Can you get past the character selection screen? Have you logged into your profile on another Xbox One console other than the one you're experiencing the issue with? Have you done any of the following: Turning off/powercycling the Xbox One Clearing cache/modem reset Signing into XBL again Reinstalling Destiny Contacting Microsoft to ensure there aren’t issues with the XBL account.

          • I would just like to mention yes im frustrated but bungie did respond and they didnt say it was or want them they asked for certain info so they could diagnose the problem not defending or attacking them but everything is going to have problems and problems dont get fixed instantly every time they need work (unless you work at mcdonalds) theyre trying to figure out what is causing the issue so it can be fixed. On the other hand im a beta player and this has been happening since day one so it should be addressed but if your just going to respond to them with hostility your just making more shit for them to sift through making it take longer plus your putting a stain on the community. Yes this is annoying yes it blows but lets keel cool heads cause freaking out is not gonna fix anything. Ps. Fùck any grammar nåzis im using a phone so piss off

              • My gamer tag is p00pdreadz. Everything works fine on my xbox1 besides destiny. I keep getting the vulture...sometimes it let's me on for 10 seconds long enough to dismantle an item then I get the vulture. I haven't changed any settings or signed in anywhere else. Also, destiny is the only game I have for xbox1 so nothing else could be causing the problem. I literally just got an Xbox1 for destiny cause I like it so much. So please try and fix this problem. ... :(

                                      So what bungie ? f*** us? We don't get anything ? No fixes no server updates, no account refreshes? Nothing ? your going to begin to lose many players over crappy servers. going on 18 days of Error codes and for the most part am not able to play alone unless I am invited at that point I can only stay in Destiny for an hour to two hours in a person's fireteam

                                        Gamertag: iPodsMakeGraves Been playing since day one; started receiving this error code without fail despite all attempts since the day update 1.1.2 went live. Only way to play is through invites or about 6-10 login attempts; hoping the party stabilization doesn't boot me. I only hope the next 1.2 update addresses this issue.

                                        • I am encountering error code Vulture. GT: sastadon Xbox Gold subscription verified through October 2015 Open nat All xbox services tested/ all up and running Restarted xbox and router still encountering the error. Played fine about two hours ago and no prior errors. I have no other systems with this account that I log onto. Any help would be great! Thanks.

                                          For those with this issue, Are you on Xbox one? (I'm only on Xbox One) What time zone are you in? (I'm Eastern) And since when have you been first introduced to this error code? (Mine was 19 days ago and counting)
