What's the best exotic Hand Canon
So there's three exotic hand canon:
Thorn, Hawkmoon, and The Last Word.
I have seen all 3 in action, look up reviews and heard many comments about it.
But I want to know the community of destiny opinion.
But keep in mind that there is no wrong answer since it is your opinion.
To end this I would like to point out that according to the grimoire cards, the final showdown between the creator of the "Thorn" and the creator of "The Last Word "
The last word seam to have done what his own name says it got "The Last Word " in.
(Although I might be wrong)

1 ReplyIn all honesty after the patch where the thorn was buffed mad all three hand cannons on almost the same level for pvp. TLW is hands down best at close range due to its auto fire and stability. Thorn and hawkmoon are on equal platforms due to there perks. Hawkmoon can two shot or even one shot kill (precision of course) with its perks which procs pretty often with in the first 3-4 shot (well the two shot kill I've gotten a total of 4 one shot kills in pvp so it's pretty rare for that to happen) Thorn is a two shot precision kill because of the DOT damage. It also has a faster ROF than the hawkmoon. And it's range is pretty nice as well. Final round is also very nice too. I use the thorn mostly since this most recent patch because the hawkmoon feels a lil accurate for some reason. Leveling my TLW to try it out I've had it for months and just haven't upgraded it lol

1 ReplyThe Last Word is the best at close range or 1v1 encounters with its full auto and potentially ridiculous stability. Thorn will wreck at long range encounters since the DoT either forces a player's hand or forces them to run. Hawkmoon is eh, at both. Since its shining quality is its Magic Bullet, which doesn't really do much besides cut down a three shot kill to two or a two shot to one. It's a solid performing handcannon, but there's nothing truly outstanding about it.

1 ReplyAll 3 are situational TLW is great for one on one fights in PvP ( really good in rumble ) hawkmoon is great for general game play is a good gun for bigger maps with more enemies its also good to use in PvE because of the large mag size ( I'd still use a fatebringer over it though ) the thorn is an easy gun to use and can get you kills even if you're bad very effective at mid range encounters probably the most effective PvP weapon ( I still prefer TLW but I play a lot of rumble ) all my opinions I have all 3 and use them all in PvP if I had to pick one for the best weapon in gonna say the thorn even though I prefer TLW just because of how much I die to the thorn compared to TLW

1 ReplyI love both Thorn and TLW but I feel more confident using Thorn because The Last Word is more vulnerable to lag in my opinion. The most effective way to use TLW is to fire it super fast, but if the latency is high(it always is) then bullet registration is low.

1 ReplyI'm gonna say hawk. For both pve&p. Hawk does very good straight up damage. Largest clip, good reload with magwell and awesome bonus damage. Although, I got taken down ALOT by word this morning in crucible...

2 Replies[b]1[/b] Hawkmoon, high power, high magazine, no down sides, doesent need special perks to be good [b]2[/b] The last word, wrecks in PvP, outside of that merely a fun weapon to use, [b]3[/b] Thorn, decent, but not good enough to come close to hawkmoon, under preforms in pve and in PvP is just like any other hand cannon but relts on after damage, which leads to messy and lazy kills
