I've been trying with Hunger of Crota to no avail yet. I think I can, but I need to revise my strat just a bit. IF I ever get Gjally, you bet your ass I'll be taking him down as soon as it's upgraded.

if you're a hunter you can fire hoc, burning throwing knife, hoc, pick up sword, throw tripmine. but you can only get him down once per sword

That's sounds pretty button intensive. Might try with different classes, but I'm gonna practice with my Warlock until I beat 'er.

yeah it is much more reliable and easy to use a ghorn compared to anything else. Being a warlock does make it easier to take down his shield without a ghorn though

You need a dual nade setup solo with hoc armamentarium for the win or obviously a warlock

Yea, I've tried with both Titan and Warlock. [b]But I've only been throwing one grenade[/b]. He goes down with one sometimes, but not consistently. Next time, I'll be throwing 2 fusions every time.
