Yeah that's how I go my flawless as well. I wasn't expecting to manage it, and I was at Crota and I completely messed up the first sword, it fell to the ground as I switched to heavy But I managed it and I was extremely proud of myself.
Was first in my clan to solo Crota (at an earlier date) and then first to unlock the flawless trophy. Helped a few people since to get flawless as well.

Well done yourself :) I also accidentally backed into the crystal when taking out the ads after the deathsinger activating Crota, so I had extra ads including a few majors with kill while the presence of Crota was active. Amazed I managed it lol.

oh yeah I know that feeling, that caused my death on one of my runs lol

I did the same thing in a previous practice, but it was worse, melee Knights were still coming out the doors in the crystal room lol.
