Blocked and muted for getting the thunderlord?
So in the nightfall I just did with my friends I got the thunderlord. I was afk for the last part because I went to help my mom but helped out on the part before. As I got the thunderlord my mate kicked me from the game then proceeded to block me. The. He told my other friends then they kicked me from the Facebook chat I was in and then blocked me.
They said I didn't deserve it because I got no kills but when I do play a game with them I mostly get more kills then them.
Then I said it was RNG and then again they said I don't deserve it.
So I left the party and gave up.
I don't know if I'm the twat here but then my friends said its sad that they would disown me just because I got a gun on a game.
Write who u think was right or something like that if u want

My friend and I have a friendly competition on who was going to get red death or ghorn first, the second this patch hit he told me that this was his patch, he then proceeded to get 2 ghorns in 2 days and icebreaker which he didn't have also. I congratulated him by giving him the finger. Jk, just listening to him screaming was enough reward for me lol I don't know why people hate on others when it's complete RNG

I had to get ready for a family gathering, but I was doing nightfall. I hid under the stairs during the Valus fight. Came back.. got Armamentarium. Friends joke about it to this day, and thats why I'm Armamentarium!

Your friends are assholes, if one of my friends got a thunderlord i'd just say ''nice, congrats'' (never experienced it because all my raid teams consist only of LFG players)

You need new friends. I have clanmates and I have random people on my friends list that will join my fireteam if they see me doing a mission or strike. Last night I was trying to do the nightfall and saw one of them already playing so I joined his fireteam. The A-hole immediately kicked me. As if soloing it gives better rewards or something. After that, I just removed him and all of the random people from my friends. I'll stick to playing with clanmates. long story short...gamers can be immature dicks at times

5 RepliesLet them be sour, it's not worth being friends with them if they can't be happy for you. Imagine it now, you beat a nightfall and get another awesome exotic. If you don't meet their standards they'll do the same thing again. Some people are bitter no matter what and you can't change them. I have a friend who complains when his kills are stolen in destiny. When I told him "As long as you're near the person who gets the kill you will get the XP, credit for the kill and drops." He responded with "It's just not the same." Irrational is what I think of now when hanging out with him but I digress. Congratulations on getting Thunderlord! Don't worry about those "friends" they're not worth it.

It would've been a problem if you sat there doing nothing and watching them do everything, but you didn't. So I think your "friends" are just jealous of your exotic. I don't think you should worry about it. Just find yourself some new, more mature friends.
