I just boought Destiny yesterday. I downloaded the latest update and tried to start the game. After creating my character and watching the intro video, the game keeps stacking in the loading screen. After a few seconds I get the following message:
You have lost connection to destiny servers. Your permissions to access multiplayer gameplay may have changed...
I have restarted Destiny many times, my created character is there, but I can't enter the game.
Some clarifications/additional info:
- I have a ps plus account
- I restarted my PS4/router
- I can play other games online and use additional/other features of ps plus
- I use a wifi connection
- I deleted and reinstalled Destiny.
- I have a NAT2 type connection
- I restored the licenses from the network settings of my console
I would welcome any help. My friend already started playing, and I would like to join him.

Same here. Although I have a workaround which I cannot explain. - Restarted everything, repeatedly, no luck. - PS4 network test works flawlessly, NAT2, good speeds both ways, all connect tests work. I have configured my PS4 into the DMZ of the router, so its all ports open and forwarded to the internet, worked flawlessly till yesterday. - Destiny gives some mudane error saying "Unable to connect to PSN". - Spotify wont connect and cries network foul NP-34924-2 specifically. Which is supposedly related to updates. And guess what was the latest update on the machine? Yep. The 6GB Destiny update. But wait. Here's the kicker: WHEN I CONNECT TO A 4G MOBILE HOTSPOT - EVERYTHING WORKS. So - I'm even unsure where to start digging for this crap. Can anyone tell me some Destiny and PSN IP-s that I should be able to access so I could do some traceroutes to see where it goes pear shaped or any other good ideas?
