[b]REVENANT[/b] [i]“There was a great outcry against the digital ghost, and yet it persists in every aspect of our universe”[/i] It has been long suspected that the Vex have a more devious weapon within their arsenal, and reports have begun surfacing as to its existence. It appears that the great Conflux, Atheon, released this weapon after being thrown to his death (one too many times) by a handful of eager Warlocks. The revenant has no physical manifestation; it breathes no air and speaks no words, yet its ability to devastate is none the less. Where once no enemy stood, three now stand. Beings whose once predictable abilities could be timed to the second act on impulse, with aggression, and wreak havoc upon those who stand against them. The revenant is code, code that has infiltrated the very fabric of our reality. More-so than any foe upon the battlefield Guardians persist against the revenant. Rumour has it that it lurks deep within Crota’s lair, playing nasty little tricks that have both aided and crushed Guardians alike. No one can say where the next revenant will appear, or when it will be “fixed” to move on to seek new ways to interfere with our world. Only one this is for certain: we have not yet seen the full extent of what these revenants can do, pray Guardians that day never comes. [b]My apologies, this is my half-hearted attempt at humour. "Revenants" are the persistent bugs and glitches that exist in Destiny to date. With HoW poised to release I imagine we will see their kind run rampant once again (I had posted this a little while back, but figured it was time share it for a whole new generation of Guardian). I'm writing this as someone who thoroughly enjoys the game and has played since Alpha.
