Please lower shotgun impact on crucible!
I consider myself a good player in Destiny, I don't use shotguns because I don't wanna be a bit** but i still like auto rifles but #bungie don't let me use it, I mean how does this make sense? shooting at at an enemy for 7 seconds with an auto rifle in order to kill them but they shoot me once and im dead.............. what ever i know they not gonna fix thiis ahhhhhhhhhhhahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Why compare it to a primary weapon? It's a special weapon. You should ask yourself if shotguns are op compared to fusion rifles and snipers.

If you were good, you would know that shotguns only do 1's and 5's at medium range. If you see a shotgun guy, fill his head with a bunch of lead WHILE MOVING AWAY. It's Halo for crying out loud!

3 RepliesUse a AR with good mid range capabilities for one, most of the time you'll have the distance to stop a idiot running at you with a shotgun, and head shots do matter, I've been mostly using a Sniper as my secondary, it's a weird combo but I make it work!

3 RepliesEveryone if you come across deadtrustify make sure you don't make him cry by blasting him in the face with your shotgun when he runs straight at you. You're only allowed to bendover and let him shoot at you for 7 seconds with an AR. If at this point you are not dead then you are allowed to return fire.

9 RepliesShotguns are fine, they're supposed to kill you up close in one shot. That's the whole point. If you're close enough to melee then you're close enough to one shot someone. Here's the issue, maps are too small. Until Bungie adds more mid sized or large maps you'll need a shotgun as secondary, it's just a fact for now.

As a very light shotgun user, you're over reacting. First of all, it's entirely possible to have success without a shotgun. My oversoul edict plan c combo works well. But most of the time I do use a shotgun but I use it sparingly. I usually go with a vex mythoclast and a found verdict. I use the vex in all situations unless someone is charging me with a shotgun and I do well. So quit complaining and adjust to your environment. Survival of the fittest
