The large majority of these "look at mine!" idiots have their build out set to max their armor. THIS HAS NO EFFECT IN CRUCIBLE. Only in Iron Banner. Work your build to max recovery/agility. Armor does not matter one bit.
Aside from that, axion bolt+vortex mastery+voidfang vestments is a wicked combo to use. A grenade lobbed in the general direction of anyone with no shield is typically at least one guaranteed kill, even if they run from it. Find a fierce, large multi-person firefight, chunk it out there and let the three seekers chase them around.
Also, I personality like Angry Magic, but I hadn't thought about using the 3 small bombs for Titan bubbles. I'm curious as to how well that works. But, if you use a big vortex, they often don't even realize you've destroyed the bubble until they're already dead. And, vortexs get a lot of late and/or postmortem kills from people just running through it.

Doesn't maxed out armor prevent some one hit kill grenades? I use tripmine grenades all the time and I've seen titans with maxed armor survive a direct hit while others died from it. Guess I always assumed that was the armor.

Edited by Who Xur Daddy: 4/6/2015 12:49:18 AMYes it can make a very small difference if totally maxed... But he's not asking about Titans (which can nearly max armor), he's asking about Warlocks, which can't get to max armor. So, you may as well get your other stats as high as possible.

Gotcha thanks. I always assumed every class could max their armor stats for this affect. Good to know.

Here's a video that explains some of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PgoDqz1ZnvA
