I just did the nightfall, right at the end, at the mission end countdown, I got the 'contacting destiny servers' then the vulture error, I sign back in and I have no reward, but the nightfall is already done. So pretty shitty luck this week

I know the feeling. Happened to me a few weeks ago in the Valus Nightfall. I think I actually shot the rocket that killed him just as I was booted. I had 2 error messages in a row and by that time the team was back in orbit. Hope you have better luck next time.
