Higher chance at gear with better stats and non-primary weapons (most of the primary's are shit anyway).

Fang is awesome... (at first i was like VOC is way better but now i don't even touch my VOC unless a solar nightfall) Word is best Void Burn Primary. Abyss Defiant is a solid AR worlds better than Atheons Epilogue. Oversoul Edict is like having a better low impact AR. (being Arc is useful) at first i thought these raid weapons sucked but not anymore.. they just look terrible lol

I never used to use pulse rifles until I got Oversoul Edict. That gun is amazing.

Run Crota hard and you eat up both chances which may end with simply a primary. Run both and you have a double shot at armor to cater towards intellect/discipline/strength or whatever you want your specific stats to be.

I never have. It's always been just 2 materials or whatever per drop. But I get 2 on normal and 2 on hard. So. Seems like double to me. Plus double chances at exotics, and it only takes 25 to 30 minutes to 2 man normal. So it's not even a real waste of time.

U may end up with 2-3 shards + item. Or 5 shards etc. the exotics, fair point. Hard mode only takes 30 min as well.

Edited by NIHNJAHMAHN: 4/1/2015 7:45:28 PMI've gotten alot more stuff doing normal and then hard (on hard i get the same thing on normal if i only do it but on normal i get 2+ materials and an item, ive never gotten more than 3 materials on a drop, including if I ONLY do hard) And with all the Crota Cp glitches and shit.. swordbearer not spawning, sword disappearing, gatekeeper coming to the crystal room, swordbearer coming to the crystal room, crota chasing people where he shouldnt, him jumping straight from the knee to a swing. and so on... Crota on hard takes MUCH longer than it does on normal. To get to Crota takes about 30 minutes maybe.. (With Deaths) Edit: my first week of CE normal and hard, I got the full set of armor for my hunter, and enough shards to fully upgrade a piece of the raid armor (21)
