The argument has been made many times and is one of my pet annoyances about this game. It was put in another thread that there are plenty more PvE Vendors and we should stop whinging about it...but Vendors that take Glimmer - Gunsmith - Halliday - Eva Levante - Cryptarch - Lord Saladin - Eris Morn (Black Wax Idols too, but yeah) Vendors that take Motes/Strange Coins - The Speaker - Xur Vendors that take Vanguard Marks - Class Vendor - Quartermaster Vendors that take Crucible Marks - Shaxx - Quartermaster - Dead Orbit - New Monarchy - FWC So, Vanguard Marks are a useless currency because for any SINGLE character, there is only two places to spend them....and then you have to rep up Vanguard to buy Weapons, Heads or Chests...so if you dont rep up Vanguard your choices go down the toilet even further. Vendors that take other currencies except for marks dont really count, since anyone can use them...but if you dont like Crucible and dont play it then you are severely restricted in the equipment you can purchase, you pretty much have to just go and rely on RNG to get anything...its pretty one sided and broken. Something needs to be done.
