Cant defeat crota on hard
Im a lvl 32 warlock with a red death and many more exotics. Ive been in so many teams that have passed crota on hard and all were lvl 32 too. Yet every time crota glitches, the sword glitches or we just dont pass it at all. We have tried all methods, middle, left, right, using bubbles to distract bommers and crota, using a person to hit the wall to distract boomers, having 3 to 5 people with gallahorn. I dont understand anymore, it's no longer that it hard to defeat him but it seems like there is no way to defeat him, its annoying to pass every raid on normal and hard but only pass crota on normal and always have crota on hard checkpoints at the very end but not completed

1. You need to have a coordinated fireteam. 2. Get a good sword bearer. 3. Take your time, you will find your groove. 4. Take notes of what you are doing wrong. 5. Ghorn is not the answer to everything. Good gear will certainly help you a lot. But team communication and owning up to your mistakes will help you a lot. I have finished Hard mode 4 times across my 3 characters. The secret to finishing it is getting into a good team that knows what they are doing and not all brag. Plan ahead and always take your time when doing the raid. Don't rush anything. Rushing things tend to end in failure. Trust me, the first time I finished Hard Mode Crota, it took 3 hours. 3 hours that was well rewarded. Just keep at it. Good luck.

1 ReplySometimes when you get to crota it'd be best to go to orbit n comeback. Kind of resets him out of his funk. Atheons the same way. Otherwise find or make a team you can play with weekly that is good bud. I usually use destinylfg.com n haven't really found groups to be that bad. Kinda picking and choosing a group anyway with the site.

2 RepliesUse phone or tablet to download "raid buddy" for android or "crota timer" for Apple. Give swordbearer leader. Go to orbit. Return to HM CE. Check connections if they are green continue if not go back to the beginning of this list. Spawn orbs at crota position or left /right rock for sword bearer. Discuss tactics so every one know what job they have and how to do it. Do a run through of where ppl will be at what time and how they get there when they use supers etc... Ammo glitch. Leave knights until last and use super to kill them with extra spawn orb exotics on. Center strat. If your not killing the bearer or shooting at crota. Kill thrall for sword bearer. Extra hunters go in bubble with titan in case bearer goes down they can take over. Center strat. If your not killing the bearer or shooting at crota. Kill thrall for sword bearer. Extra hunters go in bubble with titan in case bearer goes down they can take over. All pass through bubble on way to ogre room. Kill ogres. Blessing of light in the doorway of ogre room before you leave. Center strat. If your not killing the bearer or shooting at crota. Kill thrall for sword bearer. Extra hunters go in bubble with titan in case bearer goes down they can take over. Ignore enrage and over sole. Get rewards.
