Re-roll vanguard vendor weapons
Or do something! The same faction weapons on sale for 3 months at a time? Really?! Randomize the perks with every weekly refresh or something this is just unimaginative and boring! I for one would grind all the strikes again to get vanguard marks for all the sweet weapons that might be on sale next week.

That's where they should get the gunsmith more involved. Pay with marks or motes and the gunsmith can actually do some work for once and change out the perks on weapons.
