So what do I do with all of these across 3 characters ?

Also, VoG armour was by far the hardest set to complete. It was something I felt that had to truly be earned via the grind.
Being a 30 meant a lot more back then then it does now. You couldn't buy your way to it.
Now add in iron banner gear
Crota gear
PvP gear
Exotic gear
Random green/blue/purples to decode/dismantle.
It all adds up.
Believe it or not, the better players out there know gear matters.
It took me a long long time to understand that. Still learning about pros and cons.
This ain't meant to come across as a dig at you. I apologise whole hearted if it does.

Gear absolutely matters, which is why a limited vault makes the game more interesting. Needing an actual character development strategy is far more interesting than every single player having every single item.

Why are we vaulting random blue/green stuff?

Lol! Nah! Not vaulting blue/greens, i have spare slots on character for them. Try to keep character light on equipped items so I don't have to travel back to the tower for decryption every 2 strikes. Then again, when class mats get low, I tend to vault transfer them on needed character. Tbh, I plan to scrap my second warlock to make a titan when space becomes available. Its the only outstanding trophy I need!

Sorry if it came across that way. That was not my intent. Unfortunately I wasn't blessed by RNG in VoG. Took forever to get to 30! I keep that set of armour for keepsake. I have fond memories of VoG and chasing the 'secret' chest! I still use said armour in my VoG runs!

Keep what is good and get rid of the rest how about it? Half of the things that come from them are probably gonna be junk anyways.

Unless your smart and save them for the next dlc and have a chance to start getting some of the new gear. And yes gear matters.......
