So Saladin is last man standing. Wonder if we'll see more of Jolder.... And I see Saladin will be Zavala and Shaxx's mentor. Always wondered about Cayde-6 and his mentor, his failure in the VoG, and the death of his mentor. Would make an interesting story...

Yeah, according to lore Saladin is their mentor. Cayde-6 was in the Vault of Glass?

If I remember the grimoire correctly, it mentioned that he took on the Vangaurd Dare- something having to do with the VoG- and failed- resulting in the death of his mentor and hunter vanguard, and him taking up the hunter vanguard in his honor.
