The ability to kick unhelpfull player(s)

Don't mind helping others. But this ..... 4 exaple. A strike playlist with a random fire team of 3. While 2 FTmembers are doing the strike as they sould and 1FTmember is; - afther 2 zones are clear still not pressent. - runs a head till the end and stays idol in a corner over there. - goes down and stays down even if 30 sec respown delay has past (5 min ago). - revived several times just to go down on the same spot again and again. - keeps runnig to an enemey to give them a "dance attack" and go down 4 enemeys feet. - and so on... Evry one in destiny has seen this. And i think there should be a way to kick those players out of the strike. Becaus the most frustrating part of it all is when that FTmember gets the best reward at the end. There sould be a 2 player vote to kick, and make room 4 an other member (that hoopfully doesn't do the same). The "kick" doesn't have to be an instant effect. A warning in screen like "guardians need your help" (or somthing else) and have a count down pressent "30 sec idol (or so)" 5 sec and still in the same position (dead doesnt count if respawn count down or restriction is active)> timer starts and when it hits 0 they get kick to orbit. This should be a option for players becaus the option "report player" doesn't help the FireTeam at the moment they need it to help.

  • I think the best option would be if Bungie match-made people who get reported often (while in the strike playlist) into teams with other people who are often reported. It wouldn't provide instant gratification but would help the situation overall while not punishing people who are away because real life got in the way. It's also hard to abuse because matchmaking is largely randomized so it would be very hard for a group to target someone with false reports. Also I think it would be a good idea if the reports of unhelpfulness would "depreciate" after, say, a week or month. That way if someone who idled or was unhelpful to the level of trolling actually reformed themselves they could re-join the rest of us.

  • I don't think people should be allowed to kick because you assholes would abuse it. I think a better way is if thew other team is some far ahead like two zones is an auto kick.

    • In theory this would be cool but it don't see it working out. - A group of two could just vote someone out to make room for a friend. - People could kick you out of spite for having a certain weapon or just to be "those guys". - Sometimes you have to step away for a sec and they could kick you out. Sometimes it's better to suck it up and finish the strike and then search again. It's not like the strikes are particularly difficult or annoying (except for maybe Valus and Omnigul). Or do what I do and just wait them out until they leave.

      • Agreed. .. had a hunter stealthing in a corner of the activation room as I tried duoing the end of the Dust Palace strike. .. after he did the sane thing the rest of the strike and I was almost out of ammo. ..
