Fastest way to farm plasteel plating? Titan material
Hello all,
I'm wondering what's the absolute fastest way to farm/obtain plasteel plating? I recently made a Titan and went from level 1-30 in 2 days but now I'm running into issues obtaining upgrade mats. Thanks.

Ah, thank you. I didn't know leveling up blues and greens would yield more mats when dismantled. Roc strikes it is.

Farm exclusion zone buy greens and blues off titan vanguard representative and scrap them

If you only need plasteel plating, farm the exclusion zone. There's enough enemies to get a few engrams and the glimmer you earn can be used to buy the crappy gear from the Vanguard to dismantle.

Also adding exp in to blue and green armor will yield more materials when dismantled So if you have a free spot in your gear when turning in bounties throw some thing on before dismantling it I find one bounty maxes out a green and two to three a blue

Don't forget that armor with XP in it dismantles into more plasteel plating/hadronic essence/saphire wire too. You do not need to purchase the upgrade bubbles, just have the XP into it so the bubbles are available. Save those green/blue armor items and put them on when turning in bounties.

The Vanguard Strikes are a great way to do that. Or if you have a surplus of Glimmer, you could buy a ton of green engrams from the Cryptarch. :P

Do strike playlists and dismantle your rewards

Vanguard ROC playlist will probably yield you the most basic materials for your time.
