Dragons breathe is a nice rocket launcher. It doesn't need a buff. To many noobs spoiled with tracking rockets

Did you even read the rest of the idea after tracking? I'm building on the niche by improving the solar flares drastically. The tracking is just a bonus. Plus like I said refrain from posting 'get good scrubs. Tracking a for noobs' style comments. The main buff in my idea is the solar flare improvements.

That doesn't mean I didn't read the entire post. Dragons breathe works great for directing the flow of combat which is basically what solar flare is for. 3 high velocity rockets that each leave behind a solar flare is awesome - but people try to use it like a gjallarhorn and get mad when they miss their targets or the solar flare doesn't get them kills

You obviously see the potential in this gun differently than I do. Tracking aside, I see this gun as sustained DPS. To emphasis that I've added more surface area and DoT. I don't find the way you view Dragon's Breath to be very useful. Most enemies that you would want to control using the solar flare will be dead. Leaving only bosses and higher tier enemies alive. Now to kill those better I'm giving DoT and a larger surface area. Also tracking isn't a noob feature and Dragon's Breath is currently a lacking exotic. Why else would people whine when Xür was giving it away on multiple weeks?

I have all 3 and they all feel exotic but have different uses - dragons breathe is great against hive, and being that it's TDB exotic, that fits. Dragons breathe: large trash mobs Gjallarhorn: bosses Truth: PvP Of course you can use them for whatever you want, that's just what I have found them to be the best for. Edit: tell you what, take a DB around on some patrols and look for the extraction crew public event (it's a great rocket launcher for all but this will show you the best). Watch how wonderful these rockets do at enemy spawn points
