I agree, but at least halo CE had a good campaign to set the base. And knowing bungie they would make his books not canon.

Actually the Fall of Reach was released BEFORE Halo CE was I believe. So technically the games have a good book to base it on.

Oh. Honestly didn't know that. My bad. I think destiny should have a book about the end of the golden age and the alien races appearances.

Its fine, most people don't know. I only do because my uncle worked for Microsoft around that time and I got a copy for my birthday (which is in March) and CE released in September I think. Or November...can't remember entirely. That said; yes. I would LOVE to have more backstory on the golden age. There's being mysterious and then there's just LAZY

Definitely agree bungie is being lazy at the moment with the story. So much potential being wasted.

I dont think its entirely their fault...remember who they work for now. When was the last time Activision gave us a game with ANY plot?

Exactly. This was the lesser of two evils. And I can't blame them, they bled themselves dry making Halo the best damn game they could, and they wanted to do something else. And now they have. Its not got a great start but I still have faith in them.

Yep. Halos been 13 years. Halo CE came out when I was about 3 months old. Could become truly great.
