No Land Beyond is fine as is.

No Land Beyond is becoming widely regarded as the worst exotic in the game. I've been using it a lot recently, and I agree with the assessment that is, in fact, not very good. The following are my thoughts on how this weapon could be changed/improved to become a more viable, well rounded weapon. Let me know what you guys think. First Thoughts Sight is disorienting at first: it has far too much zoom for an Iron Sight Low DPS: While it is in the 2nd highest impact tier for snipers (along with Ice Breaker and Supremacy) it has a very low fire rate Insufficient Ammo: The maximum ammo capacity of No Land Beyond is 15. This is the lowest of any sniper rifle, even less than those with 3 round magazines (Black Hammer and Efrideet's Spear) which can hold 18 rounds (without ammo perks) Changes First off, the rifle's Impact should be doubled, or even tripled. It's design is that of a high power, hard hitting, rifle and as such it should be able to 1 shot minor enemies with body shots, 1 shot shielded enemies with head shots, and should probably 2 shot Majors with head shots. This change alone, I feel, would drastically increase No Land Beyond's viability in PvE. This change would not effect PvP in any way, since all sniper rifles are scaled to be 1 shot to the head or 2 to the body to kill. Next, the perks. The ballistics perks of the first row should be done away with completely and, in their place, should be interchangeable sights (Just like any other sniper rifle) This would greatly increase the versatility of this weapon, and give it a greater "exotic factor" so to say, making it the only exotic (so far) with a changeable sight/appearance. These sights should be of the following types: The standard Iron Sight, with No Zoom (maybe minimal zoom, like x1.5) A mid-range scope, similar to the Ranged Lenses found on most Scout Rifles. A long range sniper scope, along the lines of the Eagleeye SLR20 The first perk to be unlocked should be Surplus to aid in the previously mentioned ammo issue. The second row of changeable perks should be as follows: Flared Magwell, with the alteration that it also increases the bolt pull speed (A likely choice for PvP) Field Scout, farther aiding with the ammo deficiency. (More for the PvE side of use) Lightweight, I'm not sure what a good 3rd option could be, many sniper rifles seem to offer lightweight as an option, perhaps lightweight should retain it's spot as the first perk of this row to be unlocked. The signature perk: The Master (perhaps needing a new name) should provide the following effect: Increased Range and Accuracy, Rounds fired from this weapon Overpenetrate targets, and rounds fired from this weapon Stagger targets. Basically a combination of Send It, Armor Piercing Rounds, and High Caliber Rounds to give No Land Beyone even more of that slow firing, hard hitting, massive damage inducing feel. Thanks for reading and, again, let me know what you think. Note: I'm not trying to buff this weapon to a God Tier Exotic in an attempt to dethrone Gjallarhorn, Suros, or Ice Breaker. Just trying to make it as good as some of the more widely used exotics available.
