There is so much PvE out there stop being a whiny bitch. Raid nightfall weekly story vanguard rock. Why would you buy a shooter If your not going to play PvP that's what it's about. That's where the skilled players can beat eachother down and use tactics to outsmart one another. Maybe you just suck because you think PvP is about bum rushing mayhem, like a COD noob. Learn to use cover. I use all 3 classes

-
Skill and tactics? I think you mean connection and guns
-
The reason why I bought the shooter wasn't for pvp and shooters don't require pvp. I wanted to see a fps with mmorpg elements. The problem is the destiny community is decided between people who are expected more on the CoD and Halo shooter side and those wanting mmorpg

Haha "skill and tactics" you obviously are trying to make PVP sound harder than it is, just go around with a shotty and you can take out the whole team. PVP takes no skill at all in this game
-
Haha was gonna post same thing , I think by skill and tactics he meant ping and connection :)
-
And that's why you have a negative K/d
-
Everyone goes negative over bad games and since I haven't played PVP in a while, I haven't gotten that up. But anyone can still agree that PVP takes no skill
-
Not really. Play through it once and its the same thing over and over. I bought this game cause it was advertised as something different not just another FPS Had I wanted to play PvP or that type i I would have just got another COD or clone.

Edited by nmendez79: 3/11/2015 3:17:02 PMThere is a lot of PvE, if you don't mind killing the Archon Priest for the umpteenth time.

That, right there, this "get good" mentality is the reason many people avoid PVP. It gets too competitive. Often, many of us are just not in the mood to compete, but merely wind down and have a little fun with some friends. Social Slayer in Halo 3 was great for that, but now every shooter's PVP is weighted based on skill. As such, players that are just trying to have fun could be perceived as bad players. They are then flamed and told to quit or "get good."
-
To key to enjoying things in life is not to care about what other people think.
-
That's why you can run strikes or farm patrol. Leave the competitive gameplay to the people who can handle it. I play PvP because I want a challenge not something to fall asleep to. We need private servers for PvP that can't be exploited. so if people want to screw around with friends only using NLB they can but eliminating PvP and competitive gameplay from a FPS is like saying you want white rice without the white or the rice.
-
Nobody wants the removal of PVP. Not sure how you got that idea, but "leaving PVP to those that can handle it" validates my critique of the "get good" mindset that plagues FPS games. You're telling players that you perceive as unskilled to stick to PVE because, according to you, it provides no challenge.

The OP thinks so, that's what he posted.
-
What I got out of the OP's post was that PVP is being force fed to us via events like Iron Banner and Bungie Bounties, as well as PVP focused updates like the addition of Inferno and weapon tuning. Removing PVP was never mentioned. However, my argument is not that Bungie isn't focusing enough on PVE - On the contrary, I think that they're doing their best to cater to both flavors of their game via PVE exclusive weapon tuning, like the shotgun buff, and Ride Alongs. Events like Queen's Wrath are currently being rethought and House of Wolves will offer plenty of new PVE goodness. My argument is that this game is plagued by a large number of hyper competitive players, not unlike those that play Halo, that encourage bullying and ruin the PVP experience. Not all of us want to be the best. Many of us just want to have some fun. Because of that, I rarely play PVP, opting only to go into the Crucible with a full team of friends, never alone.
-
I hear ya man, I really think if we got a ranked playlists and a social one for PvP it would be best for everyone.
-
I posted nothing even close to asking Bungie to "remove" PvP. Just quit force feeding us update after update for PvP, that completely screws over PvE (even though Bungie has the ability to separate the two sides in their patches/updates), and quit promoting only PvP events. It's obvious by the chart and Bungie's own words that PvP is the area that players spend the least amount of time participating in, yet it's the only thing Bungie has been promoting for five to six straight months. But in no way did I ever post that PvP should be removed. Work on your reading comprehension, it needs the love.
-
So you didn't hash tags no one wants your pvp? It's right there
-
And apparently, by time in game, no one does want the PvP. But #noonewantsyourPvP does not equal #removeyourPvP See? You very much need to work on your reading comprehension. It's atrocious...
-
It looks the same to me, but hey...I have comprehensive problems so what do I know.
It looks the same to me, but hey...I have comprehensive problems so what do I know.
*comprehension Comprehensive means; all-inclusive, like a blanket policy. Comprehension means; the ability to understand something. Just thought you should know.
