32's Booting Me From Crota Hard
Alright, so I still have yet to beat Crota on hard mode because the 32's keep blaming me for messing up and bringing the team down because I am a level 31 without Gjallahorn. My job in the raids is to pop a titan bubble to distract the boomers. I always distract them but whenever the swordbearer gets wrecked my crota's melee, the blame the boomers even though it was clearly crota just because I am a level 31! I'm starting to get pissed because everyone blames me for everything just cause I don't have Ghorn and I'm level 31.
Also, my role in the raid is not to kill enemies so my level DOES NOT MATTER! Any other 30's or 31's having this problem?

2 Repliesideally you just need a tracking rocket. if you can combo that with your bubble, you should be fine. i don't understand this entitlement that people have against 31's and the raid.... i've beaten crota with teams of 3 32s and 3 31s. if you have a proper strategy and items then it should be fine. don't get upset that your teammates can't complete it without a full team of 32s, it's not your fault.

The real question is why can't you just do crota normal really. Only takes a few fresh runs and then you level up your gear. 32 is way easier then 30 was when it was VOG

2 RepliesWell in all of my groups whoever pops the bubble still shoots crota and it looks like you don't have a tracking launcher so that's probably why. Which is kinda stupid but does make sense

Even the Titan setting up his bubble can shoot at Crota to help take him down, and if you're not then those people were right to be complaining about your performance. Just play on Normal until you get the raid gear you need to reach 32, it's what most of us "elitist 32's" did and that's why we have so little respect for people who are under-leveled bitching to us about why we won't carry you. I've brought 31's through Crota Hard before and I'll do it again, but any 31 in Crota Hard is automatically being carried by the 32's and isn't able to properly contribute, that's just a fact. If I feel generous and agree to carry some 31's through that's my call, but I'm hardly an elitist for usually choosing to play with other people who are actually up to the task at hand without needing to be carried.

Dude if u r on ps4 U can add me and I'll help u finish Crota on hard Your level doesn't really matter as long as u are above level 30(which is the minimum for entering the raid) For the fun of it we went a full fire team of 30 and 1 32 as the sword

If you're on Xbox one add me. GT same as name. I'll be doing raid on my 32s shortly after reset. I'll show best bubble placement and what I do with my titan when on bubble duty. I do hard crota with my 31 hunter that has no health regen armour or health regen skills whatsoever. Not hard, its all about the team helping you with advice and communicating. As long as you listen and do your role without dying. Job done. Ppl these days just want someone to blame. Easy to blame a 31 doing a high priority job such as boomer control.

When I do raid I usually don't talk much and just doing my job. I don't care if you are level 30 or 31 as long you don't die and can take Crota down then it's fine. If you are doing your job and don't die but they still kick you then it's not worth to be in that party since they sucks and just want to blame people to make them feel better. My advice will be just move on and looking for another group or keep doing normal to get to level 32. Just so you know people will still blame each other even if you are level 32 and have Ghorn.

if the rest are firing Gghorn at him he should be easily down ... so you can just stand there in your bubble .... or the sword guy is just shit

If you're on ps4 I'll help you out. I usually run sword and have beaten HM Crota with 3 30's on my team, level isn't a huge deal.

Sometimes the bubble isn't enough. I always toss a grenade up there along when I pop the bubble. As well as shoot rockets at Crota. I've down HM Crota with all three of my toons at level 31. You need a new group
