Wow another cheesing scrub
Why cant you scrubs do stuff legit, instead of looking for the easy way out.
EDIT: To correct a lot of you people, him using blink is not a cheese, him using the sword to go around the game mechanic of creating the bridge to get across is the cheese. The bridge is there no a reason, to be used to get across the chasm, not to be used as a side option.
If he wants to solo the raid, more power to him, its cool that he is able to do it. Massive props to him for doing it.
But why cheat to do it?
In mt personal opinion, if you have to use this method to get across the chasm, solo or in a group, it is quite plain that yur raid group sucks and cant do it legit. Not saying people cant do it legit, but if you have to depend to this method you really should stick to Roc strikes.

My point is the person who originally jumped the hellmouth used simple game mechanics. Obviously you don't have to have the bridge up to cross to the other side. Otherwise bungie would make it to where you absolutely cannot cross without the bridge being up. All you have to have is the sword/arcblade inside the boundaries. They may patch it in the future, but right now it is legit. Good day!

Like you said Bungie put up an invisible barrier to prevent you from getting across without the bridge. So by using the sword not only are you going around the intended mechanic of creating the bridge, you went around the barrier placed by Bungie to prevent such things from happening.

How did you prove me wrong? If Bungie put up an invisible barrier to prevent people from jumping across, how is using the sword to bypass that not cheating? Look up cheating in video games and it will tell you this "Cheating in video games involves a video game player using non-standard methods for creating an advantage beyond normal gameplay, usually to make the game easier. Cheats may be activated from within the game itself (a cheat code implemented by the original game developers); or created by third-party software (a game trainer) or hardware (a cheat cartridge). They can also be realised by exploiting software bugs." So yes anything outside of the intended game play is cheating.

There is an invisible barrier that if you hit it you die. There is another portion were you do not, as demonstrated in the OP's video. He used multiple game mechanics to cross to the other side, so he is not cheating. The definition you posted has no bearing on the situation at hand because he did nothing "illegal". It's also pretty sad you have to continue to try to argue with me 3 days later! Obviously you are not equipped to handle the points i have made. And apparently you also cannot read!

All I see is excuses why the cheat should be left in the game. If you use 1 game mechanic to bypass another it still is cheating the game. Using the bridge is the standard method of crossing the chasm. Using the sword is a non-standard method to get across the chasm Yes it does have a bearing on the situation at hand, just because you choose to ignore it does not change the fact that using the sword to cross the chasm is a cheat.

Step on bridge until totems over heat, then step on and off until it is formed.

You just get on it until the totems start to activate, and then run off and then right back on. Wait for them to activate and then run off and back on. You do it like 2-3 times and the bridge will be formed. I do it 3 times every week. Normally I get on the plate and kill as many thrall as possible before the totem starts to activate, I then turn my attention to the sword bearer and step off. Then I back up to get back on the pad, and fire at the swordbearer. Step off and fire again and kill him. Then by the time I step back on I can grab the sword shortly after. Run across the bridge and kill the gatekeeper, and then just kill the ogres as they come out.

I have done no raids and have a bad crucible K/D just to let you know before anybody try's to insult me, but wouldn't you want to try and do things the fun way and the fast way rather than being boring and doing things by the books. Try and actually play the fun way than play like your a professional when your not.
