Exotic for each faction

There should be one Edit : So there i was, asleep when suddenly the baby wakes up. And i think to myself. "What the actual fawk". So i think. What would make this moment better? And i said, "Exotics for Factions" Edit : Lets try to make this trending so a Bungie employee can see it. I would say Deej, but... Edit 2: also im willing to hear what other options you all have about the weapons and how to get the them. If we all collaborate together and bungie does see this, we may end up cutting some of the planning time for them in half. Edit 3: This isn't from myself. Another guardian posted this ages ago. They will most definitely be in disguise to hide among the Cabal. Infiltrate and execute.[/i] Objective - Kill 3 Treasonous Leaders in a special level 28 Cerberus Vae III Strike. (These spawn randomly at the ambush area, lieutenant area, tank area or Valarus Ta'aruc area. Keep your eyes peeled as they are either Legionnaires, Centurions or Phalanxes) [i]You have served the Monarchy well. Let this be a symbol to the City that you are a loyal servant of the Monarchy. One that will not waver.[/i] Objective - Turn in to Executor Hideo Reward - Fist of the Monarch Hand Cannon Description: You will be judged accordingly 1st Perk: Zen Moment 2nd Tier Perks: Perfect Balance, Lightweight, Hammer Forged Exotic Perk: Judgment (Kills with this weapon grant bonus damage for a short time. Our main force will be engaged on the surface of Venus, but we need a fireteam to go below the surface as reports of Vex bringing in forces and a Hive Mind empowering them have started coming in from other Guardians roaming Venus. These Vex will hinder the counter-offensive greatly if they are not stopped. Put an end to that Mind.[/i] Objective - Kill the Sekrion, Nexus Mind in a special level 30 "The Nexus" Strike (Sekrion Moves and attacks like normal, but now strengthens enemies that spawn around it. Enemies that are strengthened by Sekrion are more aggressive and have become shielded) [i]The last pillar holding the amassed army together is a Fallen general moving from line to line. Find this general and end his life.[/i] Objective - Kill "Fallen General" with a sniper rifle on Venus [i]We have stayed the inevitable, but the Darkness will bring more forces in the future. We will be ready, as will you.[/i] Ojective - Turn in to Lakshmi-2 Reward: The Correction Sniper Rifle Discription: The Future War Cult will be there to make it right 1st Perk: Spray and Play 2nd Tier Perks: Field Scout, Armor Piercing Rounds, Custom Optics Exotic Perk: Leadership Elimination (Percision Kills cause nearby enemies to become confused for a short time) Stats: RoF - 30 Impact - 52 Range - 85 Stability - 76 Reload - 10 Magazine - 3 (Field Scout increases to 4)[/spoiler]-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dead Orbit [spoiler][b]Quest: Expansion[/b] [i]We are taking our first real step to separating ourselves from the City. Now we must make sure they never try again. Infiltrate and make sure they have enough...incentive...to not even think about attempting this again. [/i]Objective - Plant the "Mysterious Device" in the Tower. Any indication towards Dead Orbit will tip their hand (A little puzzle/problem solving. Just have no Dead Orbit armor, weapons, shaders or class items equipped and search around the tower. A spot behind a random area will have a faint glow and will allow you to hold square...playstation of course, not sure on xbox...to plant the device. This area could be behind some boxes, behind the speaker, or some other random area. hunt around) [i]You have strengthened our stance and prevented the City from hindering our progress. You will be engraved in the lore of Dead Orbit till the end of time. [/i]Objective - Turn in to Arach Jalaal Reward: Vindictive Mistress-R1 Auto Rifle Description: Cross me once....you wont get me twice. 1st Perk: Persistence 2nd Tier Perks: Skip Rounds, Field Scout, Hammer Forged Exotic Perk: Revenge (Damaged and accuracy is significantly increased for a short time after a death or recovery from near death. Kills with this weapon grant bonus ammo directly to the magazine) *Bonus damage and accuracy is about 20% increase. Bonus ammo is +10 to the mag* Stats: RoF - 100 Impact - 4 Range - 22 Stability - 45 Reload - 88 Magazine - 75 (Increases to 100 with Field Scout)[/spoiler][/quote][/quote] Edit 4: I have to say guys, you all have offered wonderful feedback thus far. The stats about the weapons earlier were not my original thought or input on the notion of having exotic weapons. That right there came from multiple sources of an un-named Guardian. Ill show my own stats on the guns i think we should have and how we should go about obtaining them.

  • The only thing I have to add is that these bounties should come from faction packages. So a random Dead Orbit package will contain the Dead Orbit exotic bounty, and so on.

  • Why are you encouraging the poor auto rifle design introduced with The Dark Below? Low Impact and only moderate Stability. Plus the RoF only adds to the kick of these guns. I'm not saying every gun should be a SUROS. It would just be nice to see some balance. How about low stability but controlling the weapon is rewarded with landing mid/high-impact bullets? Or very low impact with moderate RoF but easy to land at least 90% of your rounds on the target?

      What about if.... The races made a difference in the overall appearance of weapons and armor? Exo's took a more angled, mechanical design philosophy? Awakened took a more sculpted, highlighted approach to design? Humans took a more classic militaristic look on how things are displayed? Same true for Exotics. Depending on your [i][b]race[/b][/i] each Exotic, has all the same stats, but [i]Looks[/i] different. Is handled differently by your character? Mind blown yet?

      • No more exotic light autos, Dead Orbit armorers are described as accuracy obsessed, I think a high fire rate, medium impact scout rifle would fit better. And losing 5 caps per match loss in control would be savage. My gut reaction was that it would be too much, but it could work. As long as you don't get stuck in a a bunch of asshat teams in a row, which happens.

      • Awesome idea. I was just thinking that the special weapons kinda fit the class's different personalities: Titans: Shotguns Hunters: Sniper Rifles Warlock: Fusion Rifles (because space magic) If it weren't already out there, Patience & Time is basically what I would have wanted the Hunter exotic to be. Maybe the Titan shotgun has kills recharge melee quicker, and kills putting ammo back in the clip, and explosive rounds. Yeah. The Warlock fusion rifle should randomly pop off your Nova bomb for free in place of a fusion shot.

        Holy hell...to see my bounty weapons n ideas garner this much attention is insane lol. A little disclaimer about the weapons themselves in response to many of the comments below... The weapons perks and stats did not have a lot of thought put into them. These were all some quick ideas I put together for the purpose of the bounties. As for the weapons, I tried to go with weapons that were iconic in status/feel for what the factions brought... New Monarchy: between the red hand and vanquisher. My personal love for the red hand won it out. FWC: not a lot of experience here with FWC so I went with a gut feeling. Wanted a support weapon that felt viable. Dead Orbit: whether you like it or not, the Unwilling Soul is one of, if not the most, recognized DO weapon along side the Gravity. As for the bounties themselves, I know there is some hate for the requirements, but I wanted to focus on a story for each faction (and doing a handful of kills in the crucible doesn't pass the idea of becoming battle hardens, I'm sorry...).

            • I love the idea but one quick thing. For the crucible parts of these bounties you should have to play the corresponding faction match type. E.g. Control is a Dead Orbit match type so you should have to earn your Dead Orbit crucible section of the bounty in Control.

              "2nd tier perks" are actually called mods, confirmed via Strat guide. Also, what are the barrel mods? (Exotics don't have sight mods) One more thing, the NM Exotic doesn't fit their motif, none of the NM weapons fit into the Powerful archetype (I have at some point own(ed) 'em all. More often than not they're Precise (high base Stability) with the exceptions of the Rapid (RoF) MG, Lightweight (Snipers don't have a Rapid archetype, but this is close while providing high Handling) Sniper, and Balanced HandC. That said they do not yet have a Pulse Rifle.
