Step 1: Find an arcade style game that correlates with a preexisting interest of hers. Mine was Racing because my wife loves cars but others include sports or puzzles. Arcade for simplified controls and increased fun factor. Step 2: Find a Graphically impressive game to wow her. Let's face it, we're shallow creatures by nature. Good looks can make up for alot of short comings (Et hem). Step 3: Get a co-op class based game that has specific, well defined roles she can play. This is the whole make her feel special and part of a team thing. Let her be the healer or major damage dealer depending on her preference. After a few "Thanks for the res." or "She killed him!" from the group she'll feel like one a da guys and you're set. Note: Keep it light, play in short burst and don't pressure her.
