What my boyfriend did with me is he showed me lots of different games and styles to see what I would like. I ended up really loving halo but absolutely hating gears. Just show her the games that you have and not all shooters if you have any. Worked with me. Sorry if this doesn't help! 😄

You hated Gears? I liked those big bros, and Dom's story... I cry every time ;) Have you tried Mass Effect? Great story and characters.

If you like a good story and characters, that game is awesome! You should check it out. Third person shooter, great mechanics. You get to take NPC's on missions, it's never ever boring. Garrus is my second favorite character after Master Chief.
