Why I hate (most) warlocks
*Post doesn't apply to PvP*
Let's be honest
Almost every warlock uses Sunsinger in PvE
Almost every Sunsinger uses self revive
Almost every Sunsinger using self revive waits until they die to use their super
Almost every Sunsinger that self revived makes a small amount of orbs
IMO, if you wait til u die to use your super, you are a shitty player
Anyone who has experienced the glory of 3 warlocks all using their supercharges all the time knows it's the best way to play the game (aside from raids, whole different playstyle is necessary for those)
If you are a Warlock reading this, please consider turning of self revive
I dare you to play 10 ROC strikes where you use your super the second the yellow bar appears, then tell me how you liked the playstyle
All this being said, I main a Hunter b/c 99% of people can't use the Warlock effectively
Bring honor to the Warlocks fellow guardians
EDIT: im trying to stay away from giving Voidwalkers a bad name, trying to keep negative comments to sunsingers
EDIT 2: apparently a lot of people rely on sunsingers to save their team when everyone else dies??? There's such a thing called strategy, and excellent strategy>waiting until everyone dies to progress
EDIT 3: so according to some, not currently having a warlock makes me ignorant to everything about the class and unable to judge the class and the people using it -_-
For one, i had a fully leveled warlock but wanted a second hunter. Two, I've been playing since day 1 and understand the roles in depth of every class better than most warlocks i meet
EDIT 4: IM NOT TELLING YOU HOW TO PLAY! PLAY HOWEVER YOU WANT, THIS IS JUST MY OPINION
EDIT 5: the comments seem pretty skewed towards "self revive is a great crutch, back off dudey" it's obvious that this post attracts warlocks, butthurt or not. However, the only time it is acceptable IMO to use fireborn is soloing nightfalls and 2 manning VoG or cheesing the bridge cp in CE

Only use sunsinger if I'm running a nightfall solo, most of the time run with voidwalker and obsidian mind with bad juju for those constant nova bombs

During a nightfall im more concerned for my teamates. So i spawn them orbs and they spawn me orbs. If people play it differently then that there own playstyle. Dont try and put people down just for there own way of playing.

I Voidwalk for PVP and PVE except Nightfalls and Crota's End hard to make orbs. Way more fun

I love void walker but on nightfall when you get to the boss you almost have to run sunsinger. It isn't worth restarting from orbit

Our Sun Singer equal to your Titan bubble. Our Sun Singer equal to your blade dancer invisibility. When a Titan is in trouble they put up a bubble. When a hunter is in trouble they use blade dancer to go havoc and invisible. When warlocks are in trouble they have NO CHOICE but to DIE and then self res quickly/however time, to get out of danger. I'm not even gonna get mad that ppl don't use their common sense, it's pretty simple if you use your brain once in a while and try to understand the situation.

Not to be rude, but you don't know what your talking about. Why post this? If people want to Self Res let them. Your ignorant to the play style completely. Its about taking more risk or saving Titans and Hunters in a nightfall. We warlocks are support characters many of our abilities are to help with radiance. Again not to be rude, but please don't talk bad on warlocks if you are ignorant of the play style.

Well there are two ways to look at this for sunsinger, 1. If you have firstborn on for a specific purpose, it's kinda useless to pop super for no reason until you die to be sad for a nightfall or other reason. 2. You put I think radiant skin on amd help out teammates. Two ways to look at it. It's just warlocks and sunsinger are so useful but boring as hell to use in patrol!

I main a warlock, void walker. I agree with your post since you are not ignorant and clearly state "most" and not all warlocks use their abilities ineffectively. Ignore the hateful remarks.

2 RepliesIve never used the self res ... Not even once, I use my super as often as possible to create tons of orbs. If I play titan I always play defender and use the bubble when a teammate is in danger.

I don't like waiting until I die either. I just use it when there is a big group. Works pretty good. Only use fireborn when asked

Primarily voidwalker. Love it. Throw bombs like it's going out of style. I've been asked to switch to sunsinger to cheese bridge where I complain about it. I'm often told void sucks. When I do run sun, I'm playing the same way..... Supers like crazy. Thank you HoPF! I completely agree with you. So many suns just hang on to the super. What a waste.

3 RepliesYes I use self revive No i do not wait to die I get super so fast I just spam it to make orbs The buffs are that great You have to be standing directly beside a Sunsinger to get the cd buff And taking less damage is helpful but honestly only on nightfalls etc So I can hit harder and for longer while taking damage at the same time
