This is not so much about the impact of one gun vs another but the usefuleness of the weapon as a whole. This weapon has a higher max damage rating than every weapon currently in the game. It is the most difficult weapon to get as well. But it cannot down a major in the hard raid in a reasonable fashion even while focusing on head shots only. A scout rifle being able to do so in the most difficult part of the game while also only being legendary vs exotic speaks volumes about its utility. The Nechrochasm fails that test and is not useable in its current state as a result. It does not live up to being a top tier exotic weapon whatsoever. If I want to go to a level 6 dark beyond mission and kill thralls with my lv32 character sure, it might be useful. But if im playing the hard raid or any raid (or pvp for that matter) and want to use a powerful weapon I can actually damage high tier enemies with then this weapon, supposedly the highest tier weapon at this time, fails me. Whether it is a hROf auto rifle or not it should still be useful and unique. I hope that makes sense.

If high rate of fire auto rifles are bad and you just accept them to be then somethings fundamentally wrong with the game. Atheons Epilogue is a hrof auto but it at the very least has a magazine of 70+ which is typical of its archetype of weapon. The Nechrochasm has a magazine of 42!! Which means not only will you be doing pitiful damage per shot with its low impact but you will be relaoding even more frequently than is typical for weapons of its type. it fails even to be the best weapon of its type as its attributes/abilities are subpar at best and its magazine size is more consistent with an auto rifle that should have higher impact. It is not balanced and needs to be buffed/given better perks to be great at anything other than shooting low level thralls in the head and causing them to explode (sometimes not all the time).
