Worst Part of reset day is...
Waiting for 9 hours to leave work so I can get shit done. The struggle is real!

I'm half way finished with the work day. Just 4.5 more hours and 1 hour of yelling in traffic and I'll be shooting the Magic 8 Ball with my Thunderlord!

Edit 5: I'm dead tired at work but man did I have fun last night. I swear that was one of the most fun raid groups ever. Didn't finish my Crota hard mode or VoG yet but there is always today. Now if I can find a way to sleep through this meeting in 10 minutes and I'll be golden.

That ^^^ really happened yesterday. I muted him (party chat) shortly thereafter. You know what the worst part of reset day really is? Realizing that you (I) are (am) really Charlie Brown on that day. Lucy keeps yanking that football and all you are getting for Christmas is a lump of coal.

1 ReplyThe worst part of reset day... is knowing that you have to play through the same content with the same gear, the same plan, and the same enemies as the last week you played. Is knowing that this process will most likely end with you disappointed. Is that you get online knowing that there is a possibility of someone that you normally play with quitting because they are no longer entertained by doing the same boring content everyday. As a result of this you have to find someone new that you enjoy hanging out with and teach them the ways your team does things. Is that next week you know that you may not come back to experience what is above.

Finished all 3 Nightfalls, Weekly heroics, 3 normal CE runs (2 on hunter so I could run sword for another group), every bounty on 2 of 3 toons, and about 1/2 of the bounties on the last. I also took the family out for dinner and was gone for just over 2 hours somewhere in the middle there... damn the food was good. Edit 1: Oh, very bad week for Nightfall loot drops.. sad really. #1: 7 ascendant energy (Just 7? Come on Bungie, if you're gonna screw me over at least give me 10 to 12 of them). #2: Legendary sniper (Dead Orbit, Broken Truth LR-1), junk. #3: Some random worthless Legendary pulse rifle.. I dismantled it faster than I said "WTF?, again!" Edit 2: Oh, I am only doing normal CE runs because Bungie doesn't want me to have the Black Hammer. I'll shove this Necrochasm up Crota's arse for a Black Hammer.

I as well as many other players, no longer care for reset i only do nf and maybe 1 weekly for dead orbit. I dont raid anymore(got everything from boths raids) so weekly reset comes so fast now days its kinda ridiculous.

1 ReplyI appreciated this Destiny journal. It was cool reading something that seems like how I generally feel about my life, and mild obsession with Destiny. Wake up, go to class, workout, do homework, workout, dinner with my roommates, then Destiny until my girl calls on FaceTime. Life is a grind, which is possibly why I can't put Destiny down. Sometimes a little fantasy in the mix makes the rest of life a little less grindy.
