I feel your pain.
RNG in and of itself isn't a bad system, but the very small pool of loot available really puts the sting into not getting something you want/need. I've run the normal Crota raid numerous times and have yet to be blessed with any of the secondary weapons and only the Machine Gun of the Heavies. I was helping friends of a friend run the normal raid last week and watched multiple guns drop for folks doing the raid for the first or second time. I got more armor (I have MULTIPLES of each) and shards/energy. Makes me question how random the loot really is.
So disappointing. The game is so fun to play, but the loot system is so aggravating.

Yeah, I don't expect to get something good every time, but when it just never happens...

Lol. Ran Crota normal 2x after the reset. Actually got 2 weapon drops. Both were the same machine gun I never use. Now I will have to wait a week for another chance. So we're at many normal raids on two characters, 3 drops of the same weapon. Good system. - Der
