I Don't do 300 weapons
I have gotten many vog weapons including 2 fatebringers, I don't use them, don't even give them a chance, yesterday I dismantled a fatebringer and atheons epilogue, when u fight level 22 and up enemies 300 is not as effective as 331, I don't care how good fatebringer is, if I get it i dismantle it. [b]They may be good but they are LIMITED more than u know, hit the link[/b]

Edit 2: some of u don't seem to understand that I am not saying they are bad, I am saying the 300 limits performance and that is why I don't use them, I have no problem with you using them, for those of u not willing to try to understand the chart, if the fatebringer was 331 it would and 12.6% more damage, that's the difference

Edit 7: let me repeat this for the 100000 -blam!-in time, the fb and other vog weapons are good weapons I belive that the fb is actually one of the best however the link I posted PROVES that they are limited in what they do against higher level enemies, this is a fact no matter how good there performance is, put it this way, what if the fb was 331, the only thing it would change is the fact that it is a limited weapon and raise damage by 12.6%

There's a damage cap, that's why you can't 1 shot some low level enemies. Certain enemies have damage caps where only certain amount of damage is done. When you have 331 damage weapon it only deals that amount of damage towards level 32 enemies or above.

I'd be hanging on to them with the hoped for upgrade system possibly incoming with HoW. Be a shame to scrap them and then not be able to upgrade.

Dude, the problem with your argument is that you are making a completely moot point. It doesn't matter that FB would do more damage as a 331 - that's obvious. The real point is that it is still better than all of the alternatives.

You should really learn to know what you're talking about. It's not about appearing smart, it's about being wise... Luck mate! P.S. This is how it works, a 300 attack power weapon does max damage to level 30's and lower, a 331 attack power does max damage to level 33's. Caps are instituted at 3 levels above and below. Reddit has lots of people that just crunch numbers and data concerning this game... Have fun

Power Levels and Personal experience are completely different, Dragon Ball Z is proof of this.

2 RepliesDude your an idiot by far. The only two comparable weapons with a level 32 character are word of Crota and fatebringer. Why because the rest are EXOTICS and well you put common pieces of crap that no one cares about. Your saying fatebringer isn't as good because of 35 dps after level 22 and 23 dps at level 33. that small percentage which is less than your stated 12 point Some percent you stated above in difference does not make a difference in killing things. Anyone with even half a brain will chose fatebringer because of the perks ah are actually useful unlike the words. With that said your a scrub hahaha!

You're right, it will do around 12% less damage per bullet than its new 331 counterpart, the Badger CCL. However, the A.1F19X has Field Scout (not available on the badger), so I have 27 rounds in the magazine. Field scout alone means that I'm reloading HALF as often as the badger, which means my DPS gets a boost right there. In addition, you can't buy a Badget with firefly (the vanguard A.1F19X came with it) which means that unless you get a lucky drop, you're stuck there too. Firefly is extremely useful against the lower level mobs as you can usually take out 2-3 enemies (4-5 for Thralls) with a single headshot. To summarize: You cannot make the blanket statement that 331 weapons are more effective than 300 weapons of the same type, because there's more to tactical advantage than "my bullet does 12% more damage than yours".

Lol, my Walock only has VOG weapons. Still doing fine on all content, only not running CE on hard as he is only lvl31. [spoiler]Does have a 331 IB and Ghorn though[/spoiler]

I still have a few I will never get rid of. I can only hope in the future they implement a damage increase.

2 RepliesSo word does 20-50 more dmg then fatebringer. That's really not that much at all, so I will take that all day taking into account it's ability to vaporize adds. I still have not "gotten" another legendary prime 331 that can take it's place (I am growing fond of the fang of ir yut though).

2 RepliesYour list shows the fatebringer does more damage than the last word at 331 to 33 level enemies...so based in this results fatebringer a level 30 handgun is better than a 331 exotic handgun.

5 RepliesThanks for posting the proof to what I already knew as to why the FateBringer is STILL the most viable hand canon out there. Still one of the highest damages on any current enemies, tied for the largest clip and the only one that deals large amounts of real AoE. Not those bullshit little exploding bullets. But it's your game too. Feel free to die with whatever gun you like in your hand.
