With how often we Guardians visit the Tower, the Traveler - as enormous and rather lifeless as it seems - merely fades into the background of the city and all its lights and jetstreams. Nearly all who gaze up at it probably wonder what, why, where, how, etc...before rushing off to throw their engrams at the Crypt-arch after a well fought mission or series of bounties, of course. Well, I am one of those. At one point I noticed some strange circular lines that almost look like a hatch or door of sorts...I basically chalked it up to the innumerable amount of missing answers the story provides...until I saw a similar feature on a downed Guardian's ghost. Have any of you ever looked closely at the center of one? If you and a buddy happen to just be messing around, try, err, sacrificing him/her, and look at the revival orb a little closer. The center of the ghost looks like the Traveler, having similar, circular lines/patterns. The Ghosts themselves came from the Traveler, so it seems to make sense. I figure it's one of two things: coincidental aesthetic choice...or [spoiler]...the Traveler is a matriarchal ghost.[/spoiler] Thoughts?
