I just killed a thrall (regular thrall, not cursed) & he exploded into a ball of lightning that took out half the health of an adjacent thrall. If was like the firefly perk but with lightening instead of fire
Edit: After paying a lot more attention I've found 2 guaranteed hidden perks on thunderlord. Outlaw & firefly! Precision kills speed up reload & from my guess, there's about a 20% for targets to explode with lightning! I was never crazy about this gun, but now I can't help not be! It's the machine gun version of Fatebringer

5 RepliesI think I've seen fatebringer do this as well

It's a cool hidden effect, but the damage is so little that it's pretty much just for show. Don't ever remember killing anything with the rare lightning explosion.
-
It doesn't have outlaw, it has the perk kills with this weapon increase reload speed. How did you not know it has this? As for firefly, killing an enemy with thunderlord has a "chance" to make them explode.

6 RepliesLots o exotics have hidden, or not listed perks Thunderlord--firefly GHorn--proximity detonation Truth--tripod Icebreaker--surplus Plan C--lightweight Thorn--hipfire MIDA--high caliber rounds I'm sure there are a couple of others
-
The Thunderlord is a beast for a titan with generate orbs with heavy weapons kills
-
8 RepliesGjallarhorn has proximity detonation, Thunderlord has a chance for arc firefly, Mida has high caliber rounds, Truth has tripod, Universal Remote has shot package etc. etc.
-
All exotics have a hidden perk, thunderlord' is every now and then you get a fire fly effect.
-
2 RepliesI think just about every exotic weapon has a hidden perk
-
1 ReplyDont you read the perks of the gun. They arent hidden at all
-
What your seeing is anomaly that occurs when I target is so over joyed and that it's glee and excitement overwhelm it and cause it vibrate down to the very molecule then it over heats and detonation occurs . In other words the target was so happy to have been shot by an exotic weapon it exploded.
True story
There's no outlaw it's the feeding frenzy perk, which is honesty better than outlaw because it's nearly as fast and it's any kill not just precision. And ya it makes about 1 out of every 4 or 5 enemies explode just like fatebringer just different animation. When you're running around picking up ammo or popping a synth, have field scout equipped and when you're ready to fire switch to the stability. You'll have 60 bullets that first mag and it'll have the stability. Unless you use field scout normally, I just have a hard time controlling it. But Little trick that destroys bosses and increases the amount of bullets you'll get

1 ReplyExotics with hidden perks. Thunderlord. Firefly Gjallahorn. Grenades and horse shoes ( proximity explosion) Truth. Three in the tube.
-
It doesn't have outlaw that's just the feeding frenzy perk. The exploding things is hidden
-
1 ReplyYep. It occurs 50% -ish of the time.
-
Yea it's a hidden perk. Just like gjallarhorn has grenades and horseshoes and truth has tripod (after patch)
-
7 RepliesMida Multi Tool has hidden firefly as well with precision hits
-
It's not outlaw, it's Feeding Frenzy that reloads it faster. There are hidden perks we have come to believe in the community. Gjallarhorns have Horseshoes and Grenades hidden in it... But yes, Thunderlord has a random Firefly to it. It's awesome! Love that gun, I use it like a scout rifle until I need to lay into a single enemy. It's accuracy and range are sick!! I have like a 60% or more precision kill rate with it!!
-
Actually the first perk on it makes it have a quicker reload speed, it doesn't have a hidden outlaw perk
-
-
1 ReplyIf you loaded up on synths can use it like a primary. Tap firing makes it a beast scout
-
If you go back and watch that E3 gameplay video one of the guys gets thunderlord and when he viewed the perks those perks where actually in the perk tree
-
2 RepliesUse it in the thrall area of crota raid
-
Outlaw is precision kills increase reload speed. Thunderlord has Feeding Frenzy, Kills with this weapon increase reload speed.
-
The explosions can only happen after it's sped up the first time I believe. Don't quote me though; I've only ever really used it for PvP.
-
well it IS Thunderlord.

It is an incredible piece of weaponry. Going to be fun using that in HoW, assuming it's applicable of course.
