[FIX DEPLOYED] Are you not able to see your Xbox characters on the site or app? Tell me about it here.

[u][b]>>>> IF YOU ARE STILL ENCOUNTERING ISSUES WITH YOUR GAMERTAG NOT BEING DETECTED BY OUR SITE, POST HERE<<<[/b][/u] [u][b]RESOLUTION:[/b][/u] Thank you to everyone who reported their issues. We've been doing a lot of data gathering surrounding this issue, and your input has been incredibly valuable. So valuable, in fact, that we have found a cause for the problem and are preparing to deploy a fix so your gamertag information shows up on your Bungie.net profile. Many of you will find that your Xbox Live gamertags are now appearing on your profiles, and you can access your Destiny account information; you've likely been a part of our science experiments if that's the case. If you still can't see your gamertag and Destiny info by the end of the week, the most likely cause is that you are not on the correct Microsoft account that has your Xbox Live information. If your gamertag info is still not showing, you can troubleshoot the status of your Microsoft and Xbox Live info [url=http://support.xbox.com/en-US/my-account/microsoft-account/forgot-microsoft-account-solution]here[/url]. You will hopefully find that you indeed used a different Microsoft Account. If that is the case, create a new Bungie.net profile with the correct account. If it is not the case, we have seen issues where something in Microsoft's system is not properly reporting your gamertag to Bungie. In this case, Microsoft support has been able to work with customers to resolve this issue. [u]This thread's purpose is for me to gather information in order to diagnose what is wrong. [/u] This thread is not about whether your character shows up as just a silhouette. That is a [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12285]WebGL problem on your browser[/url] or a hardware issue with your mobile device. Feel free to make a[b] new thread[/b] about it under #Help and #mobileissues. Be sure to include your device platform, OS, OS version, and app version (you can find it under the about tab). Because there's many of you and one of me, I won't be able to reply much. Please don't be mad. (Also a new question) -[b] no, only my phone[/b] other things i've tried - uninstalling/reinstalling companion app - logging in with facebook first, unlinking/relinking MS account - removing MS 2-step verification - removing MS android app verification - adding 2nd "alias" in MS account, hoping that logging in with a different email address may help - tying MS account to "new" bungie account that i created by using a different facebook account

Yes I verified and can connect to xbox live via computer and xbox 360 and xbox one. 5. My gt is used on both 360 and One. 6. No I am not logged into multiple devices. Only Computer. When I created my bungie account it said there was no gamertag linked to the MS account I used...even though there is. I've logged in and out multiple times and nothing works. When I click on anything it says I need to buy the game.

I am 100% certain I am on the correct Microsoft account used to manage my xbox live account. I know this because I am able to log onto xbox.com and see my gamertag, friends list, messages and all other pertinent information associated with my xbox account. 5. Xbox one This is the process I went through to try and get my account to work: 1. I tried to create a new bungie account with my correct xbox live account (verified it many times). 2. Bungie.net tells me it can't find an associated gamertag with my xbox email and to "click here" for help 3. Click here for help just links back to the same page. 4. I posted in forums about this issue, no replies. 5. I link my facebook account so that I am able to unlink my xbox live account. 6. I unlink then re-link my xbox live account hoping it would fix the issue. It didn't. 7. I tried creating a new bungie.net account, using my correct xbox live account. Still can't find my gamertag. 8. Once again...Yes I am absolutely certain I am using my correct Microsoft account. People keep telling me this

          I'm on ps4 and just started having this problem today. I'm only logged in from the app. My computer is off. This is my first time having this problem.

          I have done every suggestion in this feed and my app still won't let me see my character. It continues to say "you must create a character in Destiny"

          ive tried everything on here on this site, from this post, from several other posts, from youtube videos, from other website posts, from this post again, I called Microsoft twice. look, this is the 4th account ive made today, its not working. ive spent about 6 hours trying to get this squared away and it isn't working. is there not a tech support that doesn't involve me resorting to forum posts and 4 hours wait times on replies? a person that checks up on the bungie end of my account to see if everything is working properly? it wouldn't be a big deal if the game I bought didn't come with a code that said I get upgrades, and I didn't constantly get cards while playing to game. if its not going to work, its not going to work, but im trying everything I can and its not .working. my gamertag isn't picking up, im losing hope that it ever will *edit : I almost forgot, the first give away there was a problem was the whole qr code. scanned it with the kenect and came here to see what it was. after making an account it wasn't in my redeemed codes. tried to scan it again and it said code was already used. started clicking on icons since ive never used the site before and noticed the link to xbox live account. when I first signed up and in I used my email address that is the wid for my xbox live account. while logged into this account I can pull up Hotmail.com and xbox.com and it auto signs me into my live account or the email that the account is linked to. im currently logged in with the facebook account I used to create this new account, and have the xbox account linked. with same results.

        • App and website show I have no xbox live account attached to my microsoft accout. So i made the bungie account and linked it to my microsoft account but still both the app and website show no sign of an xbox live account.

        • I have xbox 360 and one and I haven't ever had the app work. Please help. I did verify my account and I added my face book. I even changed my unique Id to Texas mouse1.

          I have tried all the fixes and have not been able to get my xbox live account to link to the app to show my character. I am able to autheticate it by logging into my microsoft account, but no character appears. I have tried on my phone both in the app and in the browser as well as on my home pc. Please help. Xbox Gamertag djmung

I just spent an hour online with xbox support and this was the message: "Hi Mike. Thanks for patiently waiting. I really apologize if it took me quite a while Mike. Our Specialists have checked on your account and it really shows that you have all the requirements Mike. She had advised me to let you contact bungie through forums since we can't really find any fault on your account. You know, it would really be easier if we have control over this Mike but we really could not find any problems on your Xbox account. But anyway, she told me that bungie would be able to link it manually if all of the troubleshooting steps have been exhausted.", " Yes, they can definitely link it manually Mike. However, bungie doesn't really have a contact number or any chat support links so I'd strongly recommend that you post thread on their forums link. Its a community forums Mike and bungie's specialist would be looking on the posts from time to time so they should be able to reach you out when you post a thread on there. While we at support, we really don't have any control on this Mike since we are only focused on the Xbox accounts. As much as we'd really love to go further or dig deeper but again, we really don't have any specific tool to do it manually on our end because we know that you already exhausted everything."
