Except the KKK didn't blow up countries and killed few people in comparison to ISIS

No KKK had no connection to Christianity I live in North Carolina where biggest chapter was

Sorta-kinda. The modern KKK is not really taking action anymore. They're a lot of talk but no walk, whereas ISIS is doing everything they say they are and then some. The old KKK following the Civil War and up to the Civil Rights Movement was taking drastic action akin to ISIS, but just as I stated in the OP, the U.S. government cracked down on the KKK hard, going so far as to declare martial law in a few ocassions.
