Update is cool and all but I think another rebalance needs to happen. (PVP)
Before I express MY THOUGHTS, I want to go over a few huge issues that still live in this game's PVP atmosphere. People, these are my opinions and mine alone, so if you do not like them, can you express why? I do not want to see "lol gitgud, kid" or "lol you suck" or "lol look at your KD" posts. These posts are what is killing this very community. First, I am not a kid, so do not call me out on that. Second, these things are DIRE situations that need to be changed, and if you do not agree, you are either defending them, or living under a rock. This will without a doubt attract a lot of hate because I know how many people use these weapons.
1) The Last Word (Yours not mine). Let me tell you why this gun is such a plague in crucible and after patch 1.1.1 still is. Bungie, what the -blam!- were you thinking when you made this gun? If I remember your exact words, you people said EXOTICS ARE NOT MEANT TO BREAK GAMEPLAY, but feel overpowered. Well, shit, Bungie, you clearly make some exotics feel damn good, but the last word is a completely different story. This gun is the most broken gun in the whole game. The hip fire on this gun does not even require you to aim and it hits so damn hard. This is a problem in a game you deem "skillful", Bungie. It is a problem because ANYONE can use this weapon and dominate a whole match no matter how shit they are at the game. If you use the last word, you are a total noob and a plague to this entire community. Let me say this again, YOU ARE A PLAGUE. Bungie, the last word is insane and you people know it. Get off your arses and actually rebalance this damn gun. The issue with this gun is the perk called "last word". This special benefit alone lets this gun do insane damage and have insane hipfire. This benefit needs to be removed, and the full auto fan fire benefit should replace it. It will feel less broken and match other exotics out there. Anyone who used last word knows how boring it makes the game, Bungie, a exotic rebalancing 2.0 is needed! Couple this with gunslinger's trance, or blink and you are the ultimate noob this game has ever seen. I do admit that I take out my last word when there is a plague of them.
2) Thorn. Ah, thorn, the gun that is super hard to get, feels so rewarding, and burns you as well. If someone has Thorn, only last word can beat it, depending on how good the person is with it. I will not say much about thorn, but it shouldnt be able to hit you from a mile away. You people didn't nerf the range enough, Bungie. In my experience, the only way to beat it is with a fusion rifle, or a shotgun, or if you get the first shot in with your primary. Hunter's with thorn and last word are unstoppable if they can press a trigger. Thorn does not have an aimbot, but it is plaguing the crucible and is limiting our weapon options.
3) BLINK. GET RID OF THIS IN PVP. This ability is super super broken. How fun is it to shoot and then a person randomly teleports in the air and shotguns you in the face. No, there is no skill when using blink, so stop being in denial. Blink and felwinter's lie or any shotgun, really, are another plague in the crucible. Blink is stupid and there should not be crazy shenanigans in an arena shooter like teleporting. Get rid of blink, or put a timer on its use. Inb4 blink takes skill or blink is not broken. Oh and Bungie, who's lovely idea was it to make hunter's be able to blink in blade dancer form? This is super-duper broken. Blink and nova bomb is also a very cheap combo.
4) BLADEDANCER. The most overpowered thing in the game and even last word has a hard time beating it! This is just insane. Hunters get a 50% defense increase and can run around the map INVISIBLE and even throw arc waves from a distance. Easy fix: Make all supers like blade dancer so we have some sort of balance. If a nova bomb whiffs, that is it, you dont get a SECOND CHANCE. Radiant Skin does not even have the sheer defense power of a bladedancer, and what is even more stupid is dying from a single headshot, which bladedancer's live. Two Gjallarhorn's to the face doens't even kill a blade dancer. One hit of a bladedancer super puts a warlock in radiant skin at red health. Overpowered crap needs to be nerfed.
My solution: Nerf the defense of a bladedancer or make him have a certain amount of strikes before he can use slash again. This would create balance and an opening to kill a bladedancer.
5) Golden gun: Self-explanatory: One shot kills and you get FOUR with the helmet and it lasts such a long time. Radiance only gets a one shot melee and nothing else is one shot unless you stick someone with a fusion. Claws of Ahamkara or Hotpf is the only way to guarantee one shot kills in radiance. Reduce Golden gun to about 6-7 seconds and it will not be such a problem in crucible.
6) Special ammo: Not everyone wants team shotguns and team snipers in a clash match. Put the special ammo crates to spawn every minute or so and there would be more of a weapon control thing going on. Skyshock is the worst offender in this category. Special ammo should NOT give you primary ammo. It should only give you special. Primary should be for kills and kills alone. Someone has 70 bullets and has last word? You know he can get more, right?
7) Fist of panic and panic nova bomb: Give us a notification when they have it. I cannot count the number of times I shot at a titan and he fist of havocs me.
8) Invisibility: This should be exclusive to patience and time. Get rid of it. I cannot count the number of times a hunter camps in a corner invisible and just shotguns me.
9) Fusion rifles: The ammo has been reduced and so has the blast radius, but they are still damn overpowered. I am looking at pocket infinity.
10) IRON BANNER: Make this more than control and bring something like it as a permanent playlist.
I think the no radar playlist will help some of these problems, but a weapon and general rebalance needs to happen again. Weapon as in SPECIFIC EXOTICS.
PS: These are MY opinions and I am not telling Bungie to nerf everything, just the things that are a disease.

By a long way) Pocket Infinity (It's ridiculously broken) Perks that need a rebalance: Blink Unstoppable (Fist Of Panic) Shoulder Charge Final Round on snipers needs to be patched ASAP too. Oh, and don't forget that Blade Dancers heal with each melee kill LOL

"Nerf this, nerf that", "Oh I died in PvP, X is too OP" Frankly I think the word Nerf should be met with a ban from these forums. You and anyone else spewing this garbage is the cancer to the success of this game. Just stop, nobody is going to stop using these guns because you suck against them. Get better or get off of the game.

However I'm not going to because A) you said anyone who disagree's with you is wrong and B) after reading your first point about last word you don't deserve to get decent comments. You insult people and bungie constantly and swear a ton. If you didn't want people to flood your thread with kid comments or git good one's maybe you should have been more respectful. 1) The wast word is borderline OP. However most people go for the 4 shot kill because they can't handle the recoil or hipfire for the 2 shot. If it really is that easy as you say then post 3 games where you won with a big gap between you and the enemy. Put your money where your mouth is. I out shoot TLW constantly. it's an easy gun. But it won't let you beat a better player then you. 2) Thorn is fine. The nerf was plenty. It's just hard to tell because most maps favor medium to close range. I also out shoot thorn users constantly. Again if it's that easy post a game where you won miles ahead of your enemy. 3) Blink has a cool down. And it's only really good at moving you forward. It's not a very good device for normal jumping. Try using blink on a map like twilight gap. it's difficult. You really didn't provide any reason on why this is a bad ability. All you did was show how people were smart enough to combine game mechanics. Blink is very predictable. Maybe learn the blink height pattern and then come back. 4) Figured this would show up. BD is not OP. a blade dancer can die from a single rocket/sniper headshot/shotgun headshot. If it took any more then there is a connection issue at play. Point in case fusion rifles. you can shoot a full burst of one at someone and die and they live. on your screen you shot all of the burst. On theirs they only took half of it. I have a clip of me shooting a hunter in BD dead on with a rocket killing them in my game clips. feel free to go look it up on xbox.com with my GT. it's the clip rusted lands fun. aiming the arc wave is difficult to do on the move and has short range. Also every super mid super require BD to hit twice. after GG has been activated however it only takes one hit. and after activation of fireborn it takes one hit unless they have radiant skin. then they require 2 hits. Titans take 2 if they have improved force barrier. 3 or 4 if they have improved force barrier and armor of light active. BD is easy to gun down as long as you don't panic. the health regen (should they choose it) stops the moment they take damage and they have to give up encore. Meaning they will grab 2 kills at most depending where they activate. The only time i've ever seen or been able to get 4 or more kills with BD is if the enemies are all bunched up. Which any other super could do at that point. the only time you are helpless to BD is if they catch you off guard at close range. If you see them coming you can kill them 90% of the time. 5) golden gun is balanced. No resistance in super (your radiance CAN get resistance) and no. I'm a career hunter. I almost never get 4 kills in pvp with GG. it is more likely that you run out of super before the 4th kill either because you missed a shot or you had to travel the map some. If you can get 4 kills with GG more then likely nova bomb/fist of panic could have in that situation as well. 6) This is a map design/game design issue. most maps feature cqc heavy areas. added that we have movement options that let us put ourselves into optimal range faster. Added that we also spawn with weapons that work well in cqc. Don't forget some armor also increases how much ammo you can carry. limiting the ammo won't change how the game is designed. It would only make cqc primaries more used (which you bitched about 2 of them) and double beat downs would be more prevalent. 7) It's annoying. But not a problem. That person is choosing to sacrifice a potential multikill or flag cap/save by wasting it on you. Honestly it works more in your favor then theirs. 8) I actually can. It's not effective in the slightest. Pay attention to your radar. they are only off the radar when they sprint around. And at that point they are visible enough that you'd have to be blind to miss. If they are crouching in a corner they still flash on and off the radar as if they were crouching normally. 9) Uh no they are not. Plan c has the farthest rage of any FR i've seen. pre patch I could one shot someone across anomaly. I no longer can't. And your complaining about pocket infinity? the one FR that can spray? that someone has to give up an exotic slot for? Sounds like just bitching to be honest. 10) control is the best game type for iron banner. It's the most team orientated. Overall this is clearly just a "i'm bad at the game" post or "i am pissed for getting beat by better players" post etc. I agree there are some weapons that still need tweaking. And crucible still has some things that need to be messed with. However it's none of what you listed. Fun fact you basically listed off everything that a general scrub or below average player complains about. Your thread is the typical whine post. I'm not a stellar player. I place myself as slightly above average. and I don't have any issue with any of these things. Granted I do complain about panic supers or FR only people while I play occasionally. But I'm smart enough to realize that it's just me venting. Next time if you want to be taken seriously try to act more kindly. If you want others to treat you with respect you have to respect them first. what you give is what you get. Also bring in factual evidence. Like the claim that hunters get more super kills then other classes. Granted this argument has since been countered, but it would have at least shown that you have done legit research instead of just random angry spouting like this thread. Also I'd recommend you at least get a 1.5 kd or better. KD doesn't directly prove you are a good player. However to the people who think it does it gives you some ground for those to listen to you. Basically actually make the effort to be taken seriously and you will be. ~good day.

I didn't buy this -blam!-ing game for pvp. Hey bungie why don't you just close pvp permanently and we will never hear about pvp whiners anymore. Then you can't -blam!- Anything up with nerfs and buffs that screw up pve. Thanks.

Also, there should be no overshield option for titans or warlocks outside of their super. Or maybe, the Hunter should have a initial health regeneration at the start of the super. All I'm seeing is gripes about how broken the Hunter class is. All the classes are broken in some way. Hunter is the only one who does not get invincibility or an overshield in their super. Every other class gets one, or the other, or both and this applies to both within and outside the super. Invisibility and Blink are the counterparts to those abilities. Your points are rather moot considering you only picked on Hunter abilities and mentioned one titan ability. ALL CLASSES ARE BROKEN The last word also is not that good though. Is it good in general? Yes it is. However, my secret handshake shotgun with full auto says no to last word. So does my B line trauma, mida multi tool, Ice breaker, gjallorhorn, crotas hunger, over soul edict, murmur, pocket infinity....get the picture? It's about the player, both the shooter and the victim with this gun. not just the shooter.

Blink actually isn't too hard to counter. Just stop shooting and hop backwards or run under them lol. Also no notification for supers. I save my FoH for stopping bladedancers or destroying pesky Titan's bubbles. If they know I have it, it would be harder to do. Bladedancers and golden gunners are the easiest to kill mid super. You can also hear them activate the super. I avoid them at this point.

The fact you have to be but hurt by saying your not a kid means you are a kid or an adult who is 25 but acts 10. Pvp is frustrating but get good or dont play. TLW is an excotic that is good and deadly. Why nerf it so you dont have an upper hand? I have. I play pve pretty much all the time when im on and i got the "reward" of the last word. So why nerf it to were its only a little better than a vanguard gun? And there is no reason to nerf the thorn. Its hard to get amd should be an op gun. This isnt cod. Its a skilled pvp game inside a pve world. You get nothing from pvp except iron banner and iron banner is true pvp. Everything else you have to cry about all i can say is your going to die. Over amd over. ITS NOT COD it requires teamwork and skill to win. The main problem everyone should bitch about is we cant talk to other people on the teams. We can but everyone jas to join team chat and most people like me forget. So stop crying. Play the game. Get a team and win pvp. Just know pvp is just a sideshow of the true game: pve. Just because you own in pvp dosent mean you can solo nightfall or beat crota with a three man team.
