The fact that they made shotguns deal 2x the damage in PVE means that they can absolutely create a balance for the mythoclast, and they know it too.

M8 bungie still hasn't even fixed the problem for the Vex mythoclast in PVE witch was posted months ago. & now after this patch they go (oh that gun opps be in the next patch a month from mow). I'm starting to see they don't really care sense a few million player's play per day.

This x1000. When they originally nerfed/buffed weapons they should have done exactly what they did with the shotgun this update.
