Coming from a long time sketch artist, you've got a great attention to detail and your shading is good but it could use a little work. You seem to have the same problem I ran into for awhile and that is proportions, Hawkmoon's handle seems a bit small but other than that the gun looks great. Keep practicing and check out that art class it could end up being great. Also you should look into Deviantart I think if you post their you'll get better constructive criticism.
