Felwinters Lie Best Roll?
Can someone tell me what is the best perk combo on the iron banner shotgun? I will be rank 4 today, and I will buy two to test my luck. What should I look for perk-wise?
Edit: I got cascade, hammer forged, and shot package with solar

4 RepliesShot package, luck in the chamber, and the range perk. Look at my titan shotgun. Thats what you want. The range isnt allowed to go any higher because its capped at that point. Its a one shot kill in almost any close quarters situation.

2 RepliesI am not new to Destiny, but I did save Iron Banner until I got tired of the PVE game. So, I got to level 4 last night, and decided to grab this shotty. I keep seeing people say that they were buying more than 1 to test luck. I am wondering if you get something different than the one that you see when you approach the Iron Banner guy. When I bought mine, the perks did not change from what the preview stated. Also, how do you get the re-rolls on these weapons? I will be buying the Scout today

19 RepliesAlso, elements change the guns overall stats. I have found the void gives by far the best overall crucible stats for the weapon. Also, I have luck in the chamber, hammer forged, and rangefinder. Look at my female Hunter.

1 ReplyI'm pretty happy with the Lie as is. The only thing I'd probably want on it that it doesn't have is shot package over rangefinder. I'm not a fan of full auto shotties, and my Hunter can slide pretty far as it is, so kneepads aren't vital. Ammo also is never really an issue, so things like field scout are meh.

I would definitely recommend getting full auto for PvE (Shotguns will get a 100% increase soon) for PvP definitely acquire a Knee Pad and Shot Package with Hammer forge. Cause you always want to make sure in PvP that you need one shot for the kill or maximum dmg on a target.

with the shot rate of fire ... I think Final Round / Hammer Forged / Shot Package is the best roll. Also, you shouldn't use Field Choke if you have Hammer Forged since it won't add to the gun's range. The only question is how much of a range nerf with shotguns have after the next update is released. Rangefinder might be a better perk than Shot Package when that comes

Keep that one.. Hammer Forged and Shot Package is a great combo. No need for full auto, it's probably the slowest shooting gun in the game.

I bought three, got a solar version with knee pads hammer forged and shot package. Second one is arc and had who's next, hammer forged and shot package. Final one is void with luck in chamber hammer forged and crowd control. Pretty happy with them really hoping the shotgun pve buff makes them worthwhile.

I got one with luck in the chamber, perfect balance, and shot package. I consider that near perfect. If it had hammer forged it would be perfect.
