may as well. if you're using a primary on atheon you fail any way. i dont use oracle disruptors though, because i'm either not in the portal, or picking up the relic. in fact, i wish i could just do the relic every time. it's so easy, and people still fail hard at it. people are always like "awww the hobgoblins sniped me" or "nobody helped with the praetorian". you don't need help with either, you just need to not suck. plus i always kill like 1-2 oracles with the relic any way. one gets supered, one usually gets melee mashed, just to help out. no team ever fails when i have the relic. so i stick to that.
